Congrats to Katherine!

Those little lizards and frogs too are welcome in my screen room :) They eat insects.

The new tote is really pretty!

Oh my! A lizard would give me a start. I get a start over a spider. He is kinda cute on the outside there.

Congrats to your winner! I know nothing of her party so one day I will check it out...

Cute critter but we have them too. I was watering a petunia and a frog jumped out of it on Saturday-scared me. We have a turtle living in the garden. They are seeking water as we water the flowers.

Yikes Diane! Those tiny lizards are cute, but I told you my Mom is terrified of those. The larger ones....and I'd classify that as a larger one....are the more scary type even to me. Where I live the lizards are black too, which make them even more fun.

However, we don't see them as much as you do, so obviously I couldn't be a Florida girl. Have a great day!

Oh MY!!! Here in KY it's usually furry critters that surprise us but I'm not sure I'm ready for the Geiko Lizard to make a housecall.

Congrats to the winner! And, Diane..your little critter there is one of the reasons I would NOT enjoy living in Florida. But the WORST things are those disgusting FLYING palmettos!!!!! Eeeewwww! (or is it spelled "palmettoEs?)

I just had to comment on this one! I've never seen one of those, Becky. But my hubby just told me what they were....EEEEEwwww...is right! They may be more common in South FL. I'll let you know if I see one! lol!

The cute little lizzards drives Gabby and Gizzy crazy. All I have to do is say lizzard and they go running to the door looking around.
Of course they can't get to them, but it's funny seeing them look.

Congrats to the winner. Stay cool.

speaking of critters....we bring the bird feeders in the garage when it rains, and close the doors a night. About 3 weeks ago we noticed that something was chewing the sunflower seeds..did not eat them..just chewed them. So I put the camera out and finally got a picture of a small opossum. We have put a cage trap...doesn't harm the animal..out with cat food and sunflower seeds. Evidently he is too small or too smart to trip the plate, which closes the door to the trap. We were watching Animal Planet and saw where opossums liked sardines...so tonight we will try that. If we remove the food source and water he will probably die somewhere in the garage and that won't be very pleasant.
When we do catch him, he will be taken about 2 miles from our house near a creek so he will have water.
Have a great week

That lizard is knocking on your window , he wants to come in and cool down. (I was afraid you were going to show some other Florida critters who aren't quite as cute ;>))
