Diane ~ lovely mosaic. Hope you are staying cool in these dog days of summer.
Unfortunately, when a tragedy like that happens, even us Canadians feel it. So sad....My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been touched by this horrendous act. Stay safe my friend ~

Diane, I can't even find the words to say anything about the Colorado shooting. Tragic, horrifying are not enough to describe the complete perplexity with which I watched the news...Mosaic Monday is wonderful.

I can't even post about it, because out of my sadness comes anger, too, for the ability to purchase weapons so easily in a store and online. And the fact that he knew he wouldn't make it home, so he rigged his apartment to blow up and kill law enforcement. Prayers for the innocent victims and their families. xo

Lovely mosaic Diane!

Such a tragedy. My heart aches for the victims and their families. I just can't help to say, "What is WRONG with people these days"...its what runs through my mind every time something senseless like this happens.

I agree. It's been very quiet and I'm sure that the sobering news from Colorado has much to do with it. A beautiful thought to "love one another." If we all did, things would be perfect.

My heart is breaking for those in Colorado. A young man from our town was killed protecting his girlfriend. We heard on the news that they were moving back home in 2 weeks and were making plans to get married. So very sad...

The tragedy in Aurora, Colorado has struck the hearts of every family in America. One never knows from one minute to the next how one senseless circumstance can change our lives forever. When I was a little girl, my father always reminded us of how important it is to always tell each other how much we loved them every day. For one never knows if we will ever have another opportunity to say those precious words again.....

My prayers are with all of the families who have been adversely affected by this senseless tragedy.

The tragedy has my heart breaking for al involved. My son is an agent. He was in theater #9 after the shootings and at the apartment all day yesterday. We watched him on CNN. It will forever change his life as many others. God bless them all.

It is so upsetting, it could be in any town, anywhere! I was talking to my 81 year old Mom about it and she was saying how she lived on a farm and everyone had guns, occasionally someone would shoot a person or themselves but, why now are we having mass shootings, she thinks it is the internet, FB, people are not real people to these murderers, they are imaginary people or video game characters.....HUM food for thought!

My heart is with you on this tragedy !

On another note, I love your blog. Love pictures and really like to do collages. I think the first one is really sharp with the black edges . I must remember to try that !

BTW, what site do you use in making them ?I have tried PicMonkey, and miss picnik. I think there are other out there. Send a note if you remember who you used - I would appreciate it.

We had one day with the puffy clouds and I went crazy with my camera. FUN!!

What a pretty header! I just noticed it - or perhaps you've recently changed it.
I had a great day - a lazy morning with The Great Dane then a ferry ride over to the mainland where I'm working for the next week.

Such gorgeous flowers but you are right such a sad time for our country. I just wonder why? So horrible and senseless. We had to stop watching coverage of it as it was making my daughter so sad. You just have to turn it off but those poor families. That is what I keep thinking about. Thanks for joining the party again.
