“Blue Moon”

Does that Blue Moon

ever shine on you?

We just had to stand outside tonight and take some photos....

and then I had to come inside and listen to Toby Keith sing, “Does that Blue Moon ever Shine on you?

Here’s the link to the Video....HERE

and I’ll leave you with the lyrics to sing along!

Does That Blue Moon Ever Shine On You

Day by day, we let love just walk away
And I'll be the first to say, I was glad to see it go
And day by day, ever since you went away
I'm finding I'm still missing you, and I just got to know
Does that blue moon ever shine on you
I wanna hold you close to me, feel just like it used to be
And baby, if you feel like I do
You can come to me
Does that blue moon ever shine on you
On my mind, you were right there all the time
I could search and never find someone that does me like you do
Here's the part where I'm giving you my heart
I was a fool to let you go girl I just got to know
Does that blue moon ever shine on you
I wanna hold you close to me, feel just like it used to be
And baby, if you feel like I do
You can come to me
Does that blue moon ever shine on you
Night after night, I look to the stars
Wondering where you might be
And I've thought to myself, is that very same moon
Shining on you like it's shining on me
Does that blue moon ever shine on you
I wanna hold you close to me, feel just like it used to be
And baby, if you feel like I do
You can come to me
Does that blue moon ever shine on you?

Sweet dreams!

I did the same thing, stood outside, snapped a few photos, made a wish, and thought of the real oldie Blue Moon song, "Blue Moo-o-on, you found me standing alo-o-ne... la la la la xo

Hello Diane

Your images are beautiful and thanks for the song. As I write, the moon sits outside my window, and what a glorious clear night. Good to be alive

Have a great weekend

I'm a big fan of Toby Keith. We saw him in concert and he was awesome. When my daughter was about 4, his "Should've Been a Cowboy" song was her favorite and we played the cassette that it was on so many times it finally broke. I wrote a letter to his manager and told him about my daughter and her cassette and he sent her a brand new one. We love Toby Keith!

Beautiful pictures Diane. I'm sitting here right now with the window open and the moon is shining through just like in your picture.

Hi Diane,

Love your photos of the moon.
It was the most spectacular sight watching it rise over the water when we were coming back in the ferry.
Was sorry I did not have my camera with me.

Happy weekend

You photos are lovely. There wasn't a cloud in the sky here last night and the moon was beautiful.

You took some awesome shots, love that last one! I had to let grand-dog out about 3am and it was like daylight outside. I took a shot of that moon too. When I came in I told my husband they should name that moon for Neil Armstrong, and he said he thinks they did! It was so breathtaking.

A lovely post. I took a series of photos of the full moon as well but unless you are on Flickr or FB you will not be able to view. Or maybe I will post on the photography blog on Monday. :)
