Did you ever come home with a ‘thrift’ find and your husband said....

I really LIKE these?

PMDSCN4024

I see two here but weren’t there some others?

Oh....well, maybe there are a couple more here in the lanai on this bottom shelf!

DSCN4015

More often I hear, “What in the world are you going to do with these?”

So who knew he would like the fish....

DSCN4016

ALL of them! heehee!

(I paid $1 for the bag!)

DSCN4018

(The two glass ones are marked Sakura China)

And I’m about to run out of excuses to embroidery.

Today I found this small embroidery hoop for 15 cents.

I have been saying I want to do some stitching

...for how long?

I’m joining Time Travel Thursday

and Thrifty Things Friday!

And since these are my hubby’s ‘favorite things’

 I’m joining Katherine’s Corner too!

Happy hunting...or fishing!

I must thank you. I showed my guy your sunroom. I have been wanting one for eons and he actually studied yours, and I do believe he will comply~~~now that we are retired and he has time on his hands. I love having him around all the time.

Those are cute Diane! Some people don't believe me when I say it is hard to find tropical stuff in Florida but it's true for me. I can never run across tropical stuff, well not unless I want to pay an outrageous retail price.~Ames

I think you got a great deal on the fish! Cute!! My hubby doesn't pay much attention to what I get, he always says that if I like it that's all that matters.

Love your tropical fish, you got a great bargain! I'm glad for you that your hubby liked them, too! My hubby never questions what I buy anymore...after 30 something years I guess he knows better lol.

Love those colorful fish! My hubby is usually astounded (in a good way) with what I bring home -- wish I could snag a bunch of those hoops for that price! My girls want them to use for decorating their apartment and they're expensive and hard to find now -- who would have guessed! Can't tell you how many of those things I tossed over the years :(

Very cute fish! I bet your hubby would love an embroidered fish for his man room!

Your napkin rings are wonderful...and, so perfect for your beach theme! I agree, it is really fun when hubby likes our treasured finds. I brought a thrifted lamp in need of new wiring home (it's pictured in my recent post) and he loved it. I am such a cheapskate that he usually doesn't worry that I've spent too much.
Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a blessed weekend, my friend!

I always get a little surprised when he likes some thrift store purchase, as he generally thinks second hand means garbage :P
