Do you remember Pepe Le Pew?

I found him at the Thrift store today!

DSCN4092

He’s a piggy bank now and the cutest one ever!

DSCN4078

I also found this little ‘Made in Japan’ pixie.

DSCN4086

He thinks he belongs with the seashells.

DSCN4085

Of course after the ‘photo shoot’ I had to rearrange the fish!

DSCN4087

And I thought this was the cutest little egg dish with a salt and pepper shaker to match. But I never have room in the cupboard! lol

DSCN4097

I’m joining Time Travel Thursday ,

Vintage Thingie Thursday

and Thrifty Things Friday!

I’m joining Katherine’s Corner too!

Pepe even had his little stopper at the bottom. I think I’ll start saving for another trip to the beach!

yes I do, he chased that poor little cat! I can still see the look on her face!!!!!!!!
You have so much fun with your collections, looks so cute!!
The bag you sent me travelled four hours away this week with me to the city where Garry had heart surgery, I filled it with snacks for my grandson on the drive there and then took it daily to the hospital with my book and wallet, and all the things I needed for the day, I was so proud to tell people where it came from when they complimented me on my lovely bag!

Ooo la la! I had a very special Pepe Le Pew and Penelope snow-globe that depicts them having a romantic moment over frothy latte that I sold on Ebay a few years ago! There's a pic of it on my blog in the right column. It's so sweet!

Cheeky Rose Boutique said...

It was musical too!

Hi Diane. I can only see the button for the signs on your previous post, and this one just shows me the little skunk you found. Same thing use to happen on another person's blog, just don't know why. It is like the pics are not there but the description is. It doesn't happen all the time. Maybe it is because I use Foxfire and need to change to Google Chrome or something. I have been stalling doing that because I will have to change all my passwords for chrome. That would be an all week job, I dread it.
Love your blog and always enjoy visiting. Sometimes I look around and don't leave a comment though.
(((HUGS))) Susanne :)

OOOPS! IT is Firefox....Foxfire would be the series of books from the Appalachian Mts.

You can email me at:

I have satellite Hughs Net so I would think it would be pretty fast, but right now I think any slowness could be from all the "stuff" I have on my pc and I need to do some ridding out of all the clutter. I am open to suggestions, so feel free to suggest away. I keep intending to add my email address on my home page, I suppose I would have to add it as a gadget?
It has been awhile since I messed with any layout things....last time I did that I messed up my page and had fits trying to fix it, lol
Thanks for any help. I am headed for bed cause I have to be up at 5am, but will check back tomorrow afternoon when I return from babysitting.

So cute! I love that he is a bank. The pixie is so retro! I once collected egg dishes. I had plenty of room to display them. When I moved a few years ago, I lost all my display space. I ended up giving a way a few of them. The rest are packed up just in case I every have room again. I thinks thats called "hording" LOL.
