What’s ‘NEW’ in the lanai?

DSCN3216[3]

Did I buy something new?

Did I decorate it with shells?

Did I sit on the sofa and blog?

Can you guess?

Do you give up?

Peek inside today....

DSCN3986

and LOOK who came to visit me!

DSCN3983

My bestest blog buddy,

Della from Del’s Shells .

She had jewelry for me, of course! (and I had handbags and totes for her)

DSCN3982

And we talked and laughed and even made grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch!

Then we shopped and had more fun!

She made a pretty hair barrette for my straight hair! (I had to hold my mouth just right for it to work! lol)

DSCN3987

It was a pretty exciting day for me!

It’s so nice that we live close to each other!

Do you get to spend time with any of your blog buddies? Do you think I need a perm? heeheehee!

Oh, I am SO jealous!! How fun for the 2 of you to do that. You know, when I mailed you your towels I realized how close you 2 lived and I even thought "Hey, I wonder if they ever visit?" Such a small world. So far I've gotten to meet and spend time with 4 blogger buddies and it's the best!

I would like to camp-out in your lanai once I get the kids back in school. I hope I can finish the upstairs before August 20th. Diane, it is such a mess that I am freaking out about it!!! :/

Hi Diane

It looks like a perfect day with Della, hanging out comfortably on your lanai, chatting, creating and having lunch.
I have only met one blogger and she lives in Ireland. Some day I hope to remedy that and meet many more

Hey we had grilled cheese too! Infact, I tried to make it in a sideways toater like on Pinterest and let me tell you, it didn't work to well. Lots of smoke :( Sadly, no blogging buddies near by and I'm still pretty new so perhaps in the future I will get to have a day like you did with your blogging friend. Seems silly to have a pretty nice home an no visitors but my family enjoys it.

How fun is that, being able to spend time with a blogging buddy. I met a sweet blogging friend once and it was by mere chance and it was wonderful. Unfortunately we don't live close enough to visit as often as I'd like but it sure was awesome meeting her. So glad you and your buddy had a great time.

Hugs and Kisses,
❤Ana

I'm so glad you had a wonderful day and that you have a blogging friend who lives near you. My advice is to skip the perm - you look great just as you are.

Hope we don't lose power with the storm. Stay safe, my friend.
