Yes, we have two parks close by and the zoo! On my day off Wednesday I went to the zoo and enjoyed taking pictures of the beautiful outdoors. Today on our morning walk, we saw a deer walking down the middle of a street in our neighborhood, then it went up on the sidewalk. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me. When will I learn???

Our only park is the cemetery. =)

I see many candidates for Note Cards in this post...the bluebird in flight is delightful.

We have our own 30 acres to enjoy. My photos never seem to come out as I see things.

One of my favorite things is going for a walk in the woods with my camera. Especially this time of year.

I always encourage people to walk..it is good for us. My ankles do not allow me to walk like I desire. I would love to walk the 5 miles into town...but then there's the 5 miles back. Smiles, Susie

Have a great week-end

We do have a park with paved trails nearby. I really should enjoy it more often. Love the last photo of the heart shaped red leaf. You always find the best things :)

I love to walk and should do it more often. I do have issues with my feet even in really good support shoes but I manage some walks! Hugs, Linda

I feel like I live in a park most days; surrounded by gigantic cedars, a serene lake, and new critters popping up everyday. Right now, my exercise program includes raking leaves, which usually takes me at least 2 hours, but it's 2 hours of being outside and appreciating the beauty. I love walking too and it's a great way to stay in shape...especially if you've got 4 year old grands like me!

We sure do have a great many trails here. For being a large city area, they planned and preserved a lot of wooded areas. I have a routine where I get up and walk my just turned 14 year old dog and she readily is up for it... blind and all!!!

I'd be out all the time if we had a park like this one. Great pictures Diane, thanks for sharing your beautiful scenery.

Such a beautiful walk! We have a little park and walking trail here in our subdivision. It's quite lovely, and down by the covered bridge and creek. Now that the weather is cooler, we're getting out for exercise more!

Beautiful place!! Yes...we have a few parks near us, but we don't get to go as much as we used to. With my bad knees...I was told by my doctor that I was not to go walking where there were hills. So we are now looking for a place to walk outside that is more flat...otherwise, I do my walking on a treadmill.

Diane,
I have been enjoying your photographs of all the natural beauty in the mountains, and I have been catching up with several of your previous posts. I had hoped we'd get up to the mountains this fall, but it doesn't look like we'll get there. So I'll enjoy the beautiful fall foliage through your eyes!
