“Family Weekend” Sweet Memories

I mention my sister and cousin on my blog all the time.

They both live in Arkansas so I don’t get to see them as often as I would like but I sure have sweet memories of growing up with them by my side.

I wished upon a star for what seemed like years for a blue bike.

I was 7 years old when I got it.

Such happy times.

I’m wishing you a happy weekend filled with good memories of the past! We’re not too old to dream and wish upon a star…are we?

I hope I never get too old to wish! I got my first bike at age 7 also; until then it was the "shared" little bike we all learned on (8 kids). It was the only thing I asked for and it was one of my best Christmases. Memories are the most precious things we have...and pass on, XOXO

You all were such cute kids! I had a blue bike, too. I wonder why I didn't have pink.... and no, we are never to old to dream and wish upon a star.

I love your old photographs, so wonderfully evocative.

There is no age-limit on making wishes - thank goodness! We all need a little sparkle and magic in our lives.xx

How sweet. I had a blue bike too! And all the scabs and bruises to show for it as we played dare devil.
