Sholom is Peace “Mosaic Monday”

"Let all who enter enjoy nature in the spirit of human enhancement.  Let this park be the seed that grows and flowers.  Peace is the world's goal."

It's so nice to have a beautiful park nearby.

After a cold snap, many of the trees here in Florida look like Autumn, usually in December or January!

It’s still such a sad time and we are all heartbroken. Please join us Tuesday for a Blogger Day of Silence.

I'm doing the same on Tuesday. Blogland needs a short time to reflect and respect.

Love the park and the verse. So appropriate at this time.

I think we are all struggling with making sense of it all.

Love your photos of the park. It is hard to not think of all the pain in Newtown and the kids have to return to school on Tuesday. xo,Susie

I am still deciding about joining a Blogger Day of Silence, though I certainly respect those who do. It is good to see an address where information is available for donations. The park looks peaceful and restful...a good place to take a quiet walk and think and pray. (I'm terribly impressed with your cell phone!)

Hello Diane
I'm always amazed at the photos the new cell phones can take. A friend of mine and I travel to some garden shows and usually tote along our big Canon cameras but she has only been bringing her iPhone of late which produces super pictures like you have here.
That shot of the water with the fountain in the middle is so peaceful looking.

Hi there namemate! Thank you for linking up :) You have a new cute blog header again, I so love it!!

And the park provides a great venue to relax and savor that much needed peace and silence we want. I'm one with your country in praying for all the innocent lives lost.

Such a beautiful park. A lovely respite. The tears and prayers have been flowing all weekend. My husband and I both work in school settings. It's just heart-wrenching. Those children were Josie's age.

it certainly is lovely to have a park, or a beach, or a bush track to walk along, to absorb the peace and quiet and have time to reflect - especially in these times of trouble.
I wish you a safe and joyous Christmas.

Parks are wonderful places to walk and to reflect on life. Certainly, we all need to do that, especially when something so tragic happens.
Beautiful photos. Those leaves against the water look like pieces of gold.
