‘Flashback Friday’

I was wild and crazy way back when! lol

Diane2yrs04

We lived in Houston, TX for just a few short months when I was 2 years old. I must have LOVED having a sidewalk to ride on!

I’m joining Seaside Simplicity for Flashback Friday!

Oh my, a Tricycle. Now it is big wheels. As a daycare provider for years, Big wheels are a lot safer. Love the old pictures.

Oh the fun of having your first set of wheels!

Oh what a beautiful world of highways for a two-year-old! I think you remembered the fun or else you saw it in the joy on the face of your sweet little self.

Love the idea of a Flashback Friday - do you mind if I follow suit...I'll be sure to mention I got the idea from you. Sometimes it is difficult to think of blogging subjects, but I love looking at old pics!

I had a red tricycle too! Your photo is adorable! I can't imagine any child these days riding around the block as I did in the 50's...now they'll be kidnapped in a breath...so scaryyyy!!!!!!!!

Takes me back - sadly my parents took very few photos - I had such a wonderful childhood and my trike was my treasured possession too!!!

How precious! I wonder why we always seemed to be dressed up back in those days? You look so cute in your little dress and dress shoes with the little white anklet socks. Thanks so much for playing along. I hope you will be a regular :)

Hello Diane,

What a beautiful picture! When I was a little girl also I had a trycicle I remember it was very fun, I imagined it was my car. I went to the store to buy a lemonade, or candies. Oh, those years were wonderful.

Your picture reminds me that we have pictures of mom and I, both on tricycles when we were about the same age. I should hunt those up and put them on my blog for everyone to see. You sure looked like a cutie on yours! Have a great weekend Diane.

I am having some sort of strange flashbacks watching "Green Acres". Why strange? I wasn't even born when that show was on air... Strange, don't you say so? But I love that show, I am glued to my TV until my husband or my son ask for food... :)
