Here’s something for YOU!

A bouquet of flowers for all of my sweet blog buddies that wished me a Happy Birthday on my special day!

RosesIMG_0798

So what did I get? My one special gift that I picked out for myself from the Etsy shop HERE ? (she has one more doll for sale that I wish I could get!)

A Toodles doll of course!

Meet BeeBee!

BeeBeeIMG_0844

Just what I needed! A ‘new doll’!

She is so much like one I had when I was a girl and I love her.

BeeBeeIMG_0848

She came in her originals but had to get a Florida outfit on right away! The little quilt she’s on was made by my cousin, Cindy! Thanks Cindy!

BeeBeeIMG_0840

And to make my day even more fun, my friend Jan did a special post for me!

It’s HERE ! Thanks girlfriend!

Hubby and I got in the kitchen and made pastries. Hubby made pinwheels that he likes (with sugar and cinnamon) and I made 2 chocolate eclairs (sugar free) and I ATE them both! Was I supposed to share? heehee!

You keep right on celebrating! You can celebrate all through January and, since you're a winter gal, you can celebrate your birthday through March 20 th or 21st. Aren't I kind? =D

Sweet roses, sweet doll with all her dolly treasures, and sweet treats! Sugar free eclairs? Are you telling us how to do that?

Only, I cut THAT doll's hair which did sorely upset my mother.

I always love seeing your doll posts. Please do more of them! I love your "new" doll and I have a feeling that is what a doll I have is supposed to look like.

My childhood home was formerly owned by Dad's parents. When they moved out, we found a doll in the storage building that belonged to my aunt. She told me to keep it since she didn't play with dolls and she only had boys.

The reason I think it was supposed to be like yours is because, well, like a lot of little girls, my aunt decided to test her hair dressing skills on that doll.

Let's just say that explains why my aunt is not a hair dresser today!

Happy belated birthday my friend. Sounds like you had a great one!

Your doll is precious. So are your teddies! My granddaughter got an American Girl doll for Christmas and we were looking at 18 inch doll clothes with matching girl clothes this morning on Etsy...cute, cute, cute things for dolls on there! I think her parents started something when they got her that!

I'm so glad you ate BOTH eclairs! That's what birthdays are for...to be good to yourself!
