One shelf…in one corner…in one room…

Step right in to my doll room.

PMIMG_0670

And let’s take a closer look at one shelf above the crib.

IPDollRoom-001

I’ve been collecting dolls for almost 20 years

and yes….they have their own room!

Looks like a couple are missing!

Wonder where they are!

(getting their clothes changed! It’s a hard job but someone has to do it! lol)

I’m joining Mary for Mosaic Monday

and Diane for Beautiful Sunday

and Sunny Simple Sunday !

Do you take time to play?

What a fun room. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has a room to store favorite toys (that aren't even the girls). Hugs!

Wow. I have a friend who has dolls like you.One day her Grandchild asked Nana can I have this one and picked it off the bed. So she said yes to her. Well almost two weeks after she noticed the dolls foot was in the closet sticking out. The door was open of the door.

Why do you have dolly in the closet. Well when I dont have my lovie doll knowmore in bed with me. I will take her out of closet and put her in my bed.

Kids think so much different then adults. It sort of upset my friend as the doll was sort of thrown in the closet and not even in the room of her Grandchild. She explained that the dollie would be cold. No respond.

So my friend being a doll lover and still is had an urged to take the doll out of the closet and take home and put back on the bed.

How would anyone react to that?

Granddaughter is three.

I wish I still had some of my dolls. My Ginny doll was my favorite; my mother sewed most of her clothes. You have one beautiful collection, XOXO

Well, you might just be having too much fun.....is that possible? I've always had a thing for dolls, too, but I only have a few. Lately I've been collecting vintage rubber squeaky toys and dolls, as well as children's books. I am such a graphic freak, and they just don't do graphics like they used to.

Have fun, and don't dress the dolls too warmly.......you do live in Florida ya know! LOL

Hugs,
Meri

You have an amazing collection! I love to play!!! I got Tiger a doll and he calls her 'baby' and loves her. I think it's important for a boy to have a doll also. Makes better daddies!

Yes, it's usually with mosaics and collages, though. There are a number of bears and even a couple of dolls in this house.

Hi Diane, What a wonderful collection. I love the rabbits on the top shelf in their red coats. Gosh, I had forgotten about the little carousel pincushion I made. I had such fun making them. Have a lovely week. Elizabeth

Your doll collection is so wonderful. I always loved dolls as a girl but don't have any of mine. I had 2 of my sisters here but gave them back to her when she was home last summer. A fun hobby for you!
