A Whale of a Tale?

Standing on a dock at the brand new Visitors Center at Canaveral National Seashore we saw some unusual behavior!

Dolphins were playing in the water, coming very near us and putting on a show!

This post of the water and dolphins is great! You captured the sun glistening on the water! I saw your post on your charm bracelet and saw the great state of Idaho and Texas on it! I grew up in one and live in the other!!
Thanks for chatting with me today!

I have seen dolphins at the old marine land in Florida, at the Indy Zoo. I have seen them at play in the Ocean, but not in the wild that close. It's like you can't quit watching, once you spot them. Hope you are having a great day. I have been thinking of our northeastern families. xoxo,Susie

Good Morning, Diane

That would be a fabulous sight! Dolphins seem to have such a sense of play and it would be wonderful to see them enjoying themselves in the wild.

I'm happy that you brought this happy dolphin dance to "Sunlit Sunday".

Dolphins are so much fun. When I was living in Galveston, I used to ride the ferry from Galveston to Bolivar and back again just to see the dolphins playing with the ferry! Happy Sunlit Sunday!

Your photos, Diane, reminded me of when my hubby & I were sitting in a harbor restaurant in FL, years ago. Our table was near the window and we watched dolphins swimming below in the glistening water...while eating dinner. Definitely interesting to a northerner! :)

Our streets are plowed! Woohoo!

it is always thrilling to see dolphins or other creatures in the sea. I've been 78 cruises all over the world so I've seen my share of dolphins and, even, and occasional whale.
