Proof that I SAVE everything!

It’s not really true…WELL…

maybe just a little bit true!

I found this bear at the Thrift store and fell in love with him.

His name is Tucker which endeared him to my heart!

He is sitting in the place of honor…

on my bed while I fold laundry!

So what did I save? The ribbon is some that my friend Brenda from the Rusty Thimble tied around a package she sent me last year. He had a big red bow but that just did not suit him.

He’s a First and Main bear.

Have you ever heard of those?

(And do you save every little bit of ribbon?)

Hi Tucker,

I'm Prudence Clearwater (the teddy bear) and it's beary nice meeting you. You found a wonderful forever home and the best Mom ever, well, next to my Mom. But you know how that goes - our Moms are always #1 and the "bestest". Giggle.

Maybe Miss Lavender Dreams will take your picture with Wendy, even though she is a dolly we are beary good friends.

Do you know that we go to Camp Good Bear each summer? Maybe you can join us this year. We have so much fun.

Heaps of Hugs
Prudence ♥

He's a cutie! No, I've never heard of that type of bear. And YES, I save every scrap of ribbon that comes into the house. I keep it in various containers in my studio. And it's surprising how often I can find just the right one for a little gift wrapping or an embellishment.

Tucker is a fine looking bear. If I'd seen him at the thrift store he would be sitting in the bears' room. Yes, I save every ribbon. I thought everyone did. HUgs

Sadly, I do. And every little stuffed animal, too, apparently. No, I don't think I have heard of First and Main. He looks very cute on your bed.

Your little bear is very cute Diane. I don't keep many stuffed animals around the house. Four dogs here, and three of them love stuffed animals of any kind. I'm like you and save ribbon from packages and even from towels when they are packaged nicely. I keep them in a bag and eventually will figure out what I want to use.

The rest I keep in the bag and give to my local thrift store. I figured someone else can use a grab bag of ribbon for hair bows or scrapbooking.

The bear looks cute on your bed with the green ribbon. I am more inclined to save boxes, but my dad was the saver of everything: boxes, junk mail, orange juice cartons, cardboard Whiskas containers and cat litter boxes.

Oh he is sooo cute. I never met a little bear I didn't fall in love with. The ribbon suits him and I'm sure he makes you smile while you fold the laundry. I have a little bear that sits in a chair in my bedroom, sometimes on the bed. Happy Spring.

I have one just like him with a brown ribbon, he sits with my number 2 bear, a female version and next to them both is my 'Fuzzie Wuzzie Woo Woo', who is nearly as old as I am and a bit ragged around the edges (a bit like me), but also blind as his eyes are no longer with him. I sit him next to my two bears as he can't see (??! I know, weird but I have a caring relationship with them all!). Take care. Chel x

Aw....Tucker, perfect name! I can imagine a child tucking him under their arm at night :)

I love to save ribbon, too, and cardboard from paper pads that get used up. I paint them and add some rub ons to package my hair clips on :)
