Highlights of a Florida Vacation? Where do I start?

It’s always hard to choose just a few photos to share on my blog after we’ve spent a few days vacationing in Florida. One of the highlights of any trip we take is enjoying the photos when we get home. We hook the camera up to the big screen TV and view them together.

We traveled within a 100 mile radius but the things we saw…OH MY!

It was glorious! We stayed in a Hampton Inn for this trip so that we had more time on the beach and visiting some of the sights.

Of course the highlight for me is always the beach!

I made these postcards using the photos we took.

(These were all taken on the Gulf Coast near Clearwater Beach.)

I’m happy to be home and can’t wait to visit you all! I missed you!

How have you been?

What’s new with you?

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

Nice pictures. It sure looks warmer than it is here in northern FL, spring is a wee bit late this year, but our Hummingbirds came back to our feeder yesterday.

Did Wendy go on vacation with you?

Your postcards make me want to head to the beach, soon! We love Florida and go often and there is nothing like feeling the sand under you feet and the sun on the face! Great photos!

Oh I'm jealous of the sunshine-glad you had a wonderful time. Making the postcards is a great idea-I should try to learn that.
Have a good weekend.

I live at the beach in California and the views are gorgeous, but the ocean is freezing. I just sit and look at it.

Enjoy a lovely spring weekend.

I'm envious of all the fun you have have on your vacations. It is so nice that the two of you enjoy being together. You are lucky to live in such a beautiful area. We finally had a sunny warm day today. I went shopping at a new huge store nearby that sells pottery, garden items, home decor and lots of other things. I was disappointed because most of the stuff looked very cheap but the prices were not that cheap. I went on to the book store which is one of my favorite places to spend time. So that was what I did on this gorgeous day. Hope you found some pretty shells on the beach. You will have to show them if you did. Have a wonderful Sunday, dear friend.

Those are so neat that you made your own cute personal post cards. I also like the fact that you view your pics on the TV..I need to do that too.

Welcome home and so glad you had a wonderful trip!! I'm so missing Florida this year. Having lived there for so many years and then spending time in a warm climate every winter and then this year NOT, I'm totally in withdrawals. I am enjoying your photo/postcards, to think Florida! Thanks

I'm going to have to hide this blog post from my teen (Emma). She's so annoyed that we stayed home for spring break. She's been pining for a warm tropical vacation. Gorgeous pictures!

We LOVE the Florida Gulf Coast around the Anna Maria Island area. Long Boat Key is very pretty, too! Hoping to spend some of our summer over in that area. Thanks for sharing!
