Put on your dancing shoes? Or hiking boots!

We hiked a well maintained trail in our Asics!

Oh how we love the mountain trails at the NC Arboretum.

And what was in full bloom?

The Mountain Laurel!

It was gorgeous!

The trail winds around Bent Creek and it was so clear, we could see fish swimming!

Looks like a handsome man ahead…

probably leaving me behind!

(I didn’t put frames and spend a lot of time altering these photos because we have a slower connection here at our condo. It really was this beautiful!)

Mountain Laurel up close!

Hope you enjoyed our hike!

So which would you rather do?

How about dance while you're hiking down the trail? Looks beautiful there and don't you look cute.

Not sure which I would rather do, dance or hike, but I do say I love the scenery and the mountain laurel!

Hi, thanks so much for that mountain hike tour. I would love to hike in the mountains, it is so different from where I live and it is so pretty there.

If I've got my walkman playing disco music while I'm hiking, I'm probably doing a little dancing while I'm waling! lol :) We've got to get out there and check out the place! Looks like fun.

Hiking but not for a long one. Once in Waynesville, N.C. we were camping and I was up early cooking and our neighbor campers came back from an early hike and asked me how I could cook and hike and get it all done so early. It was easy I left off the hike.

Wow-Beautiful trail! I miss Mountain laurel. We don't have any here but had a lot of it in PA. The scent is heavenly, isn't it?

Since my ankle has been giving me fits I guess I would have to be a wallflower at a dance- xo Diana

This is how life is - sometimes you have to hike and sometimes you have to dance. Me? I always rather dance, hands down, I rather dance!

BECKY said...

Hmmm, I cannot choose! I'd just have to hike part of the way and dance the other! :)

Hike! I have no sense of timing for dancing and I prefer to be outside. Especially in NC! Love that state! Ann

I'd have to say "hike". We'll be hiking in Colorado on our vacation this year.

The mountain laurel reminds me of hiking in the woods with my mom as a kid in PA

Love all your pics but that one of the tall trees with the sun shining through the circle at the top is just exquisite ! :)

I love mountain laurel. It grew beside the creek at our last home right around mother's day.
Wishing you a nice Sunday.
