$4 and 4 hours later!

I found just exactly what I needed for my desk.

IMG_5042

Lots of nice size cubbies for pretties and things I like to keep handy for crafting.

IMG_5044

But this is how it looked before….

IMG_3299

and after 4 hours of ‘playing’ and moving everything around, I was happy with it.

IMG_5045

Of course I still move things around a bit every time I walk in that room! lol

CabCropIMG_5045

The blue cabinet is still handy on this wall.

IMG_5047

This is a small room for my sewing and crafting.

IMG_5051

It also has a computer and desk, (on a wall I’m not showing in this post) files and an architectural table. Have you ever used an architectural table? You can change the height and it’s perfect for putting a cutting board on top. Right now hubby is sorting papers and files. The closet is ‘his’ and filled with files and important papers…like maps!

Brenda featured me last week! It sure made me feel special! Thanks Brenda!!!

So many of the pretty things I keep close to me white I ‘work’ were made by my blog buddies and friends. If you see something YOU made…shout it out in the comments!

Do you have a special room for crafting and sewing?

Or you an organizing nut like me?

That is a very organized space! Have you ever shared this room before? It's great. No, I've never worked with an architectural desk. I like your new cubby!

Love your craft room, it's so organized and neat. I never thought about an architectural desk, but now that I think about it it would be perfect for crafting.

Prudence sends her love ♥ she is having so much fun at summer camp.

What a great little wood cubby organizer! I would have been arm wrestling you in the store, trying to buy it for myself, LOL. I love your studio space! And I spotted a Bernina machine too! My 10-year old beauty is still going strong. I guess I need to feature my studio space sometime. Sigh, it always seems like I have something else going on and I never get around to it.

My art room is not nearly as organized and I share it with my hubby's office space.

That looks like a space made for creativity. I like all your little figurine friends on the shelf. I don't have a crafty space...have to admit that I'm not terribly crafty.

I am not that organized! Nor do I have a room to just sew or make crafts in. I am thinking of the 2 bedrooms upstairs (one is already empty and the 2nd one will be empty soon) and thinking about turning one of them into my craft room.

I want a tidy space like yours!!! Thanks for sharing!

Your space looks so well organized. Love the new cubbies and all your little pretties! I do have my own "fort" with no boys and their stuff allowed.

Hi Diane, I like your new pinterest button, it looks so nice! You are lucky to have a craft room. I use a guest room for my yarn and projects and a section of my basement too for my yarn. One day I will organize everything so it is all in one spot! Lol.

How I wish I was organized like you, Diane. With a move looming I feel quite overwhelmed and very dis-organized. I love your "creative" space. It reflects the fun nature and diverse interests of it's creator. Ann

fits in perfectly.

I'm not much of an organizer, but when I go in to work on my gypsy wagon, I can move things around on the desk for hours:)

have a happy day.

I love the cubby, Diane. So many pretties. I love to surround myself with all those wonderful gifts from blogging friends. There's nothing like it. This is a great room. I'd probably never leave. :) Have I ever used an architectural table? LOTS. I studied interior design in college, met my husband in an architecture class. Had one of those for years. They are great.
Enjoy your creative space. Love the stacked fabric.

What a sweet little cubby shelf! It's just perfect for your things. We crafty people are always looking for one more little drawer or shelf to hide things away.
A whole closet full of maps? Really? I need to come and visit your house. I love maps. Sometimes my family calls me "Map Girl". (I'm a bit of a geography nut.)
