A Little Florida Camo?

You just never know what you’ll see

in the “WILDS” of Florida!

eleIMG_5510

Maybe an elephant dreaming of swimming in the cool turquoise water!

IMG_5511

But maybe he’ll be content to play in the lanai on these hot days.

IMG_5517

After all…our lanai has air conditioning!

IMG_5513

Don’t you love his tail?

IMG_5512

And look at that FACE!

I had fun making ‘Ele’ and used a pattern I found on the website HERE.

I’m joining Thrifty Things Friday!

(I used fabric in my ‘stash’!)

Also Katherine’s Corner,

Jeannie Marie’s ,

Ivy and Elephants

and Jann for Share Your Cup !

Have you made anything fun this week?

your soft stuffies are so cute, you really have a knack for this, small piece work, I love things you can work on on your lap, does that make sense? lol, small projects that require some hand stitiching, thats what I mean,
Iwas wondering, we watched a documentary yesterday and it was about the big python snakes that people let go in Florida and now have turned into thousands, because the area was so well suited.Have you ever saw one?

Cute little elephant. I've been sewing with burlap all week trying to restock my Etsy. Would much rather be sewing with soft fabric!

Darling little elephant. Love the fabric you used. Would be a cute addition for a baby shower gift, but of course then you would have to come up with something else but beads for the tail. thank you for sharing the pattern link. Hope all is well with you. have a great weekend.
