A Sad passing of a blog friend

I was so saddened to learn that my blog friend, Sandy Schmidt died on September 5, 2013.

I was privileged to meet her and her sweet daughter, Samantha a couple of years ago. Recently Samantha had a precious baby girl, Chloe.

There are not enough words to express how much Sandy will be missed. She influenced so many of the primitive blogs and websites with her amazing talent.

Her blog was The Olde Country Cupboard.

This is a link to an interview from a couple of years ago….HERE.

And this is the link to her Obituary….HERE.

She was an amazing woman, a good friend and wonderful wife and mother. Everyone who knew her loved her. I’m glad I have a few of her creations to remember her always.

Please keep her family in your prayers.

I didn't realize that you knew Sandy. I knew her a little bit from visiting to one Delphi forum, but I have several online friends who knew her well. She is gone too soon. God bless her, now in heaven, and may her family find comfort.

I will certainly miss her. Not only was she a talented and creative lady, but such a sweet and giving person. I bought many patterns from her and will always remember her when I sew one. She will not be forgotten.
