Butterfly Dances

We drove out to the Inglis Lock picnic area and saw butterflies and moths dancing among the flowers.

(We also saw quite a few love bugs but we don’t want to talk about that! They smash on your windshield while you are driving through the countryside!)

This moth is much prettier!

This has been the greenest summer here in Florida.

Is it still pretty and green at your house?

What gorgeous pictures! It's been such a dry few months in our area. It's looking very brown and dried up. I mowed up quite a few fall leaves in our backyard yesterday.

Pretty butterflies and moths. The temperatures are cooling down now as we head into Fall weather. There are still a few blooms in the garden.

Pretty pictures Diane and so green. We're still dried out from the summer heat, not much greening up until the rainy season starts.

Pretty photos! Still pretty green here, but sunflowers are drying up, walnuts are falling... You can definitely feel a change in the air.

These are beautiful butterflies/moths. I never know which is which. :) Yes, it's still very green here. We've had so much rain and our lawns are growing like crazy. We can't mow until it dries out a bit. The trees are starting to fade a bit though. Soon it will be very fallish looking. Have a great week Diane.

I am already missing our butterflies and moths. There has been a sudden change in our weather and they have all gone so it's lovely to see yours still really happy in the sunshine. Everything is still green here but now getting little tinges of rusty brown as the weather cools. Have a wonderful week xx

The last 2-3 weeks of almost 100 degree heat has really ruined about everything here.

We have had such an unusual summer here, Diane. We are usually really COLD by now-this year, however, it is warm and we still have lots of green.

Those are gorgeous pictures and oh-do I remember love bugs! xo Diana

Beautiful photos!
Not much green grass here...it has been so dry and our grass has turned brown. A lot of the trees in our yard have dropped there leaves...so it really is starting to look and feel like Fall here.
hugs,
Cindy

Hi there namemate! For some reason, I feel that this post is special for me. Whenever I face a major problem or I have to make a crucial decision, I often attribute butterflies as the good sign. When I saw butterflies on your blog, I felt like I'm off to a good week.

Thank you for forever linking up namemate. Sending you all the good vibes for the week.

Your butterfly pictures are incredibly beautiful ...you're a great photographer. And oh by the way, could you see about smashing all those Florida lovebugs before we get back next month. Thank you very much ;>))).

I loved your dolls and the box above and can see why you fell in love with it. I had things like that in our former life...all the good stuff went to our kids when we started traveling.
