September Note cards for Doll Lovers ONLY!

I look forward to this party every month!

Lamb3895[3]

It’s fun to look back through the posts for photos to share. (and yes, I actually read the new and revised rules!)

SideMidDoll3979_thumb[1][3]

And I always love seeing a ‘set of notecards’ so this month I went back to the beginning when I first started blogging.

DSCN4615[4]

I posted photos of my dolls every Wednesday and called it “Wednesday Wee Ones”.

I’m joining Vee at a Haven for Vee

for the Notecard party!

It’s fun to collect dolls.

What do you like to collect?

We have a very large stuffed animal collection. I haven't posted them all individually like you did with your dolls and like Beth Ann does with her teapots--it's definitely a possibility though!

These are your dolls, Diane? They are darling! I especially love that second one with the braids. If you ever get tired of her, I will adopt. LOL I have one doll, one that I purchased when our last daughter was born. So fun to see your dolls. I think I mostly collect old books, dog hair, dust, and coffee mugs from various places I've visited.

Being a newer follower, I did not know you collected these beautiful dolls. What pretty notecards these would be! I kept my childhood dolls until last year...I met a blog friend who has granddaughters who would love and cherish the dolls as I did, so they have a new home now.
I certainly enjoyed your photos today. I collect butterfly themed decor, old cookbooks and vintage china and tea sets.

Cute dolls-- the feet on the last ones look real! I have too many collections to name. Actually I was thinking of posting one a week next year. We'll see.

Such beautiful dolls. I like your rag ones as you already know. I am looking for someone to replace the eyes on my Tiny Years from when I was a child.

Hi Diane
I look forward to Vee's party each month too, a nice group of women gather to participate.
I like your wee ones, they're so life like. My favourite is the second one, she reminds me of one of our granddaughters.

Oh they are darling! And they'd make wonderful note cards for girls and grown up girls, too. I remember Wednesday Wee Ones very well! What do I collect? It'd be easier to tell you what I don't collect. I have a lot of swans for some reason. =D

Your babies are just adorable! Do you create these yourself? Have a good week! I enjoyed your notecards!

They are as cute as can be and make a nice set of notecards. I only have a baby doll, life sized for newborn and I have actually bought her an outfit at GoodWill!

How fun to go back to your old posts to collect these darlings! Do you still have all the dolls? I can imagine that my granddaughters would love to receive one of these cards.

I collect bowls, pewter, books, linens...and probably a few other things too! :D

I also have many dolls from my childhood. They were made by Madame Alexander, and someday will make a post about them. Yours are so cute :)

Your dolls are so pretty and well cared for. What a great set of note cards these would make - or birthday cards for a young girl.

Cheryl @ TFD said...

Adorable! Those first three are so life-like. If I had more room in this house, I'd be collecting dolls. Your sweet dolls make wonderful note cards!

Your dollies are really cute...I collect all kinds of things!

How sweet they would be as cards - a great package for young girls to share with their friends - old gals too, LOL!

Collect, I don't dare go there - trying to rid my home of stuff at this point so only collect white china, soup tureens, vintage Ball jars, old books to fold--------and on and on of course! Collecting is so much fun, until one runs out of space, and starts to hate dusting!!!!

Hugs - Mary

Cute idea! I'm not an avid collector of anything, but I have a few of each of these: old keys, dolls dressed in Scottish tartan, art prints with collie-type dogs in them, crystals, and vintage images. I find Pinterest is a good way to collect things: it's free, I can "shop" from home, and I don't have to find a place to put all my "collections"!
