Literary Friday…Something ‘new’ to read?

I love finding books by authors I’ve read and like.

This week I found another book by Philippa Gregory for $1 in the library lobby sales.

And this one by an author a blogger mentioned (if it’s you, leave me a hint in the comments! heehee!).

I also won a giveaway that Ricki Jill had and received this book in the mail this week. Thanks Ricki Jill. I’m anxious to read it.

I’m joining Ricki Jill for Literary Friday .

I’ve read several good books lately and need to update my Goodreads page.

If you are a member of Goodreads, let me know and I’ll be your friend there!

Have you read a good book this week?

There is something very special about finding a cool book with the dust cover still intact. I find many at the Goodwill store. Even though I read mostly on Kindle for IPad, I still love my hard cover books.

I have to admit I am stilling reading on the book I won at your give-away. So shameful really, I used to be able to read a book straight through, in no time. Now I read a page or two here and there. Seems I am writing more than I am reading. Hope you ebjoy all those books. Maybe I'll read more if we have a long winter...you know snow everywhere. xoxo,Susie

Hi, it sure looks like you have some great reading to do! I joined Goodreads, but haven't ever got over there and done anything with it?
Blessings,
Susie

Some good book suggestions this week. I just finished one in a favourite series of Her Royal Spyness and did a post about it.

I've read a book by Philippa Gregory, too, Diane, but not that one. I haven't read any good books lately, but I look forward to hearing how you like the latest ones.
Your Cowboys throw pillows are so cute. Living in the Dallas area for 27 years makes us Cowboys fans. xo

I wonder if that's where I saw you had won a giveaway. You win so much! You're not going to be out of reading material any time soon.

This past summer was the first summer that I read books like crazy. I read so many. It felt good. I hadn't read like that since I was a teenager. Being at the beach helped a little too... I love books that take place in the 1800's in America or the UK. Love Historical Fiction! Looks like you have some good ones!

Have fun!

Love,
Heather

Wow I haven't read Phillipa Gregory in a long time! I read W is for Wasted by Sue Grafton! It was good...can't believe that I started with A is for Alibi so many years ago and here we are near the end. Just started the latest Jack Reacher book!

looks like some good books you've found recently. I love finding goodies in the free boxes etc, like that too.

I just finished reading: With This Ring, it was a quick but entertaining read.

Happy Weekend to you, G

Philippa Gregory is a wonderful writer, and my sweet friend Caroline @ Glitter Tart Designs introduced me to Clara and Mr. Tiffany. I love that book!

YAY! So happy you received While the World Watched. I hope you have a relaxing, book-filled weekend!

I've been on a reading kick of all of the Andy Carpenter mystery series (by David Rosenfelt). They are funny and make me think! Plus the plots always include dogs, one of my favorite animals.

Calling by from Literary Friday, it is great to be able to join you all again. Thanks for your visit and comment to which I have responded on post.
I am also a great fan of Philippa Gregory, have yet to read this one in the series, although I have read The White Queen.
