“Art in the Park”

We enjoyed spending the afternoon at Rainbow Springs State Park and attending the Annual Art Show.

It was fabulous weather, too

We saw amazing works of art as always and visited with artists that we’ve gotten to know over the years of attending.

It was fun to see Barbara Jones again. She was sweet to give me a gift card to use toward a special handmade piece of her jewelry.

I chose these beautiful earrings. I’ll enjoy wearing them! Thanks Barbara!

I like that photo of the water through the trees. Rather restful. We haven't done much this weekend. Went to town and loaded up on groceries, and visited my Dad at the nursing home.

Nothing fun around here. We did go visit the grand kids. They are always a hoot. We have snow and it s been very cold. I am a bit jealous to see you in your shorts. Art shows are always fun. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

We are enjoying mountain life, and getting back to the cold weather. Tuesday the weather man says 100% chance of freezing rain. Mom says we have to get use to doing errands before the bad weather sets in. As long as I have my blankie - life is beary good.

Hi Wendy. Are you getting dressed up in your pretty Christmas outfit?

Hugs,
Prudence

I wish I had time for some fun things--but I have to get projects done and shipped for the show in January. I am looking forward to all my grands joining us here for Christmas, but Thanksgiving will be quietly working, XOXO

I was able to enjoy so art, too, at the Plucky Maiden's Junk Fest but most certainly did NOT have your beautiful weather. Cold and really windy here in in the PNW.

How I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Art Fests!
Two nights ago St. Augustine switched on their lights for the Holidays!! I do hope you'll go over for a night and enjoy the beautiful light show they have on display. If you are able- I wouldn't go over on the weekend - the town is crazy and full of people. A week day visit would be fun!! So much to see and do during the day and just walk the town at night!!
Beautiful last photo of the springs through the live oak and Spanish moss!

Love the photo of the river! It looks like the fair was a lot of fun.

We sort of relaxed this weekend.

Art shows are great, and it's fun to see how the artists are growing, and changing in their work each time.

Rainbow Springs! Such a nice place and I never knew they had an art show there. I love those earrings and the little tag they are hanging on is so cute too! It's like getting two things for one price. Not too much excitement this weekend here, but that's kind of a good thing for me! Ann

How lovely! I love the earrings and the cute tags Barbra Jones has. I'll be sure to visit her website. No outings this weekend, we are resting after a surprise visit from our son! We did dine again at Brits. It was every bit as good as it was before!

The art show looks like a fun way to spend time on the weekend. We were up north at our daughter's home and it snowed heavily all weekend.
Had a good visit, drank lots of tea together but it's good to be back home.

Cute earrings! You had more fun this weekend than I did. I cleaned downstairs and did a lot of things that needed to be done before we go on our little trip for Thanksgiving.
Hope you have a wonderful week ahead and a very special Thanksgiving!

How fun to go to an art fair! I would love to do that. I usually get to one a year in August.

I'm so jealous of your weather. It's 22 degrees here tonight.

It is so weird to see your sunny weather! We have about 4 inches of snow with 12 inch drifts and still snowing! But it warmed up to 31 degrees! It has been down in the teens!
Have a blessed thanksgiving!

first, your header photo is beautiful! That art show looks great, my daughter would have loved that, as she's an aspiring artist. I also love your water photo, reminds me of the marsh in the SC Lowcountry. Take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin.com
