Got Glue? Epsom Salts UPDATE

Thrifters need good glue! Let’s face it….we’ve all brought home ‘treasures’ in need of a little repair.

This looks like Santa’s workbench.

Santa needed his belt glued back on, the green bottom fell off the little house and some gold starry thingys fell apart when I opened the zip lock. (don’t you love the little birds that came in the bag?)

I still think this skier looks like he has one bandaged foot. (not sure glue can fix that! heehee)

This is my favorite ‘go to glue’! It wasn’t given to me, I bought it at the store. And I think you can find it most places you shop. Beacon 527 Multi Use Glue. So far I’ve used it on just about every surface, even seashells and it works great.

I made the little glass jar with vintage pretties and Epsom salts. (and it will be easy to take apart and pack away…it’s NOT glued! lol)

I was so pleased with the Epsom Salts I bought this year. (hubby actually found them at W*almart!) I don’t know how I ever did projects without them. They look like SNOW, perfect little granules of white!

Do you have projects on your work table that wait and wait? I finished all mine today, just in time for NEXT Christmas!

I started cleaning up my craft room table and then found projects that made it messy all over again. I'm not ready to finish up Christmas. It went too fast. Hugs! Happy New Year!

I've had a phobia about glue ever since the day I super-glued my finger and thumb together and when trying to walk away to fix that I found I'd glued my shoe to the floor too. My family has never let me live it down. :)

Gotta admire a gal who is thinking ahead! That little skier looks very perky for having a broken foot!

Seems like I always have a little wing or foot that gets broke and need to repair for next year. I've never bought this glue but its now on my list. I also used Epsom Salts this year and it works better than anything for snow! Have a super New Years Eve.

The little skier makes me smile! I don't have a lot to fix right now, but I'm so glad you got yours done and ready for next year! I'll have to invest in some of that glue.
hugs to you sweet Sis!

Cute thrifty finds. I had to fix a few Christmas things when putting them away, so hopefully they stay that way till next year.
Have a happy and safe New Year.

Happy New Year to you Diane.

When you're done using the Epsom salts you can soak in the tub with them. Love the skier with the bandaged foot.

Happy New Year Diane. I saw some really cute things made with Epsom salt for the holidays..put in jar and add whatever...small tree, snowman, just anything small enough to go in a mason jar.

Great photos! Love the eagle. There is a term for a spectrum in a cloud, but at the moment, it escapes me. Will have to think about that.

Footnote: it's cloud iridescence. Wikipedia has a short article on it.

I just need to organize my home and start painting! I haven't painted at all during the holidays! *sadface*
