Holiday memories

I know we all have memories of our childhood and the older you get, the more you look back with fondness.

I’ve enjoyed seeing old photos of my blog friends at Christmas time so I looked through my scanned photos and found this one.

cousinschristmas

So here I am….blond curls and all smiles, my shy sister, Delores in the center and my sweet cousin, Cindy on the other side of her. (they are only a few months apart in age…I’m older! lol)

I hope you are having a wonderful holiday week and taking time to think of the good old days of Christmases past.

*Merry Christmas*

I loved seeing your picture when you were a little girl, Diane. I also liked looking at your vintage and prim decor.... such fun to collect and enjoy. Merry Christmas hugs sent to you, sweet friend.

Cute picture! You really haven't changed much! Hey-- I have a cousin named Cindy too! And, yes, it's actually hard to avoid the memories when I keep unpacking ornaments and decorations from years ago...

Your photos evoke sweet memories for me as well.

The sofa end tables were common in my childhood. Our little Mary Janes with socks. I think I even had a dress with a color just like the one in the front.

Happy Christmas.

So funny Diane, like you had to point yourself out to us...you have not changed:):) Still a pretty girl !! I love seeing old photos too. Sometimes I can see others photos and think...well their family is just like ours. Especially if I see a jr.high girl in cat eyed glasses...so much like my sister Barb.:):) Blessings to you and your sweet husband for a glorious Christmas. xoxo,Susie

Merry Christmas, Diane! I loved looking at your photo. We used to have a real tree and they looked different back then, didn't they? I remember the foil icicles we used to put on them and I see some in your picture. You really haven't changed that much from when you were little. I was able to pick you out right away.
