Changes–One shelf at a time!

I like to decorate but I have to be ‘in the mood’ and I never know when the mood will strike me.

loveIMG_1266

This morning it struck and I worked on the same shelf while I vacuumed and did laundry.

Every time I walked past, I rearranged it.

Oh but I ALSO took photos every time I thought I had it perfect.

Let’s just say, it’s a good thing I didn’t have to pay to have the film developed!

I’m tweaking with Brenda at The Cozy Little House this morning.

Don’t you love my “Love Letters”?

loveIMG_1263

It’s been on my Etsy wish list forever and I finally ordered it from Old Goat Primitives HERE.

I think I’ll move it again.

Be right back!

Does it look better here?

I'm very much the same ... the mood has to strike me. I have a new bookcase that I keep rearranging too. Still not satisfied with it, but it's getting there. I like the heart pocket on the top shelf in your arrangements ;) Those are beautiful bookcases! Wendy x

We read/keep so many of the same books! I love snooping on bookshelves so I had to enlarge your photos to see your titles. So many "friends" there! And I like your love letters with the books, but both arrangements are attractive and fun. Love and hugs!

Hello -- I just caught your words above the comment section here "warm southern hugs" and that just put a smile in my heart. I popped over from This Old House & am having such a good time looking at your pretty photos. I love this last photo especially - my heart has a special spot for things that are a bit worn (old cookbooks included!)
