I went to the Thrift store but…

I only bought ONE thing! It was all I could carry!

How do you like this mirror leaned on top of the bookcase in my bedroom?

mirweaveIMG_2868

It has a hanger on the back but felt WAY too heavy to try to hang. It appears to be wooden but it’s HEAVY, about 40 inches tall by 16 inches wide!

(Trying to get artsy with a photo of the top part of the frame. I like it’s simple lines!)

It was at the Hospice Thrift store.

(with MY name on it, so to speak)

Perfect for my bedroom.

I wanted to put things in front of it ‘just for show’ but I was too anxious to get all of my jewelry back on top to see how everything would fit.

And yes, I love seashells and turquoise!

What a bargain, too. I bought the book case at Target for $20 or so and the mirror for $10.

That’s pretty thrifty, don’t you think?

Hope you find something beautiful this week, too!

I want to junk with you Diane.:) That is a great bargain. If you do hang it, make sure you hang it from a stud in the wall.:) Nothing flimsy will hold it and it's beautiful. I like the way you are playing with the painting effects. The one of your turquoise jewelry looks like it could be bridges and buildings. xoxo,Susie

Diane,
I love that mirror! It is so antique looking and it goes well with all of your jewelry. Guess what? I have that same book shelf at Target, and Jess liked it so much that I gave it to her. We are alike in so many ways, my friend.

I did a post about my dressing table awhile back. I would love to see yours someday. It looks so charming. :~)

love,
~Sheri

Great bargains, Diane! But I'm most interested in your Waterlogue app! What an awesome tool! I've seen it on other blogs and just love the potential for making beautiful things with it! Unfortunately, I don't have a iPad. Boo.

However, I do have a blog and am so blessed you linked up this month. Do put the date down for April - 4th Monday - and plan to link again!

Looking forward to our next visit!

That mirror has got to be solid wood Diane. That pretty much qualifies for the deal of the decade!
