Watercolors

I have some wonderful opportunities to take photos here in Florida but I’m not an artist. We have several artists in our family….I’m just not one of them.

But my girlfriend, nicknamed Podso shared her secret.

Waterlogue

It’s an app you can buy for your IPAD and I am totally smitten!

pine

I’ve taken some photos from my blog and turned them into watercolors. Life will never be the same….and a photo will never be safe from waterlogueing! heehee!

Thanks Podso for inspiring me!

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,

Do you love to ‘tweak’ your photos, too?

Those are SO beautiful. I've seen Podso's watercolor photos too and checked into getting Waterlogue. Unfortunately, it's not available except for i-products. wah. Love the photos, Diane!

What a lovely affect. The mysteries of photo editing are being revealed, helping the untalented become more so. I like the bird house best.

Beautiful! I still haven't tried it out but definitely will. Your photos look like little paintings.

They are amazing, Diane! The transformation is so much fun. Glad you got the app and are "hooked." Doesn't it make you feel a little like an artist? :-)

they are beautiful. lots of iphoners and ipadders falling for that sweet app!

Very different .
I really would say, that you could try a simple water color, following these images. Its hard, but once you get the knack, it comes easy.
All these new apps now coming out. they will be making tea for us soon. );-

wow what a very very cool idea-I think I would be hooked on that app too-I am staying away from those smart phones though-we live in the woods and don't go out much-so no need-but it amazes me what all is available out there-this is the best one yet that I have heard of

Diane,
I have seen these water color pictures before from other blog friends. They look just like paintings. They are very different, but I will always prefer the real thing. And just wanted to let you know that I think you take some of the prettiest pictures I've seen with all of that Florida beauty around you. Your nature and flower pictures are great.

Have a peaceful weekend.

love,
~Sheri

These are really beautiful Diane. I have the app on my iPhone and wish it was available for the MacBook too. I don't have a lot of photos on my phone right now and there aren't any nice scenery ones. I'll have to wait until the snow goes and take some. It's a really fun app! And we can all be artists!

I MUST get an iPad soon. I've been contemplating it. I LOVE the Waterlogue effect. Fabulous photos! I do have an iMac, but I don't think the app works on an iMac.

Oh, I wish I had an Ipad! I was thinking of getting one for myself for my Christmas and 65th birthday present but then the sump pump went out so it wasn't meant to be but I am going to start saving up for one as that alone is worth it! They are beautiful! I just can't get over it. It is the "coolest" thing I have seen in a long time! Wow!

Love your waterlogued images. I love water colors. I have to get a new IPAD ... mine is one of the originals and moves very slowly. If I get a new one, I'll have to get Waterlogued!

Well shoot, may not be able to get this program app then, as I saw it just now on Podso blog...I have no IPad, well these sure are beautiful...maybe Picasa will eventually add something like this ;)

I have an iPad! If I can produce watercolor images like I see on your site, I'm definitely getting Waterlogue. Thanks for sharing this. I saw your link at the Amaze Me Monday link party. Ann Marie @ Iris Abbey

If I did not read the text, I will be deceived. I will think of this as a real oil painting. I swear! Such a nice app. But I guess the app works best because of the great photo shots.

Thank you for forever linking up namemate :) Have a great week ahead!
