Take a Trip with Me!

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

                     by Dr. Seuss

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own.  And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.

We ‘steered’ our path to Canaveral National Seashore…our favorite beach in Florida!

Our first glimpse of the beach.

Very few people there this week!

And the Full Moon off the balcony of our condo.

The view from inside at breakfast.

New Smyrna Beach, Florida

All photos straight out of the camera!

IMG_4507

It really WAS that beautiful!

IMG_4514

Me stepping onto the beach, smiling I’m sure!

Hubby took me on a special vacay and he ordered up perfect weather and a seashore with lots of seashells and even some precious pieces of seaglass. (and took most of these photos! thanks honey!)

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday,

Mosaic Monday, and

Amaze me Monday .

It’s even fun to get back and do all of the ‘normal’ chores. After all, I have seashells to wash and sort and blog buddies to visit! I’ll catch up with your news while I shake the sand out of everything!

So here I sit looking out into the early morning sun shinning on the patio. There is a sprinkling of rain. I needed a sea side retreat, even if it was a cyber trip. The sea shore is so beautiful. I'd like to be sorting sea glass and shells, too.

It looks like you had a wonderful vacation, Diane. That's the kind of beach I remember visiting as a kid -- wide and long and sandy and warm. Beautiful.

Thanks for popping by.

Tonight I started to think about the beach & summer and here I am looking at these beautiful photos, Diane! Dr. Seuss is a fave here. He grew up in Springfield, MA (borders my town on the north). His illustrations contain images of Springfield when he was a child. The red Indian motorcycles were manufactured in Spfld. His stories are cool!
