“Penelope Prairie”

She’s happy to live near a Florida prairie and needs a bonnet to shade her face from the sun!

IMG_4894

I’m having such fun with my new sewing machine.

The only complaint? It’s ALL I want to DO!

Project # 3!!!

IMG_4896

I used my Kari Cristina pattern from the Etsy shop HERE to make Penelope. Laurie has a new ‘Plain Jane’ pattern I would love to try!

BUT…someone HAS to do laundry and make a trip to the library today.

Come on Penelope! Let’s GO!

She wants to show off her bloomers!

And she’s proud of her vintage apron (from an old napkin).

If you can’t find us this this week…we’re in the sewing room…making dolls!

Cute..that Penelope is a "doll". :)
Sweet little outfit, too.

I envy you knowing how to sew so beautifully. I can sew by hand, but I just cannot master the sewing machine.

Your doll is lovely. If you love making dolls you might like Tilda. Her books are in all the JoAnn fabric shops. I buy the books all the time for inspiration, and I only wish I could sew her dolls.

Happy new sewing machine.

LOL- I have been thinking all morning about going downstairs and sewing something! lol I should make some summer skirts for the little girls here. Your doll is so very sweet, Diane. Naughty girl though-showing off her bloomers-that is why she doesn't want to show her face! xo Diana
