Photo Challenge “Portraits”

I couldn’t imagine what I would post this month but then I got an opportunity I wasn’t expecting.

I was at Sholom Park taking a walk and a pretty lady walked by.

Later I talked to another lady and she said she was setting up a photo shoot for a model.

Just then the pretty lady walked up and I asked if I could take a quick photo. She smiled and said, Of course.

And I took just one. She’s standing in partial shade under a tree with shadows crossing her face and cars in the parking lot behind her.

Maybe not the best setting.

But you know it didn’t matter.

She was so beautiful that you didn’t notice anything but her. (same photo cropped)

I don’t know her name but I would have loved to have seen the photos from the photo shoot.

I’m taking part in Donna’s photo challenge.

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams.

We are on our way to Camp Good Bear and I'm using Mom's laptop. You won't be hearing from me while we are at camp but I'll write when I get home.

Spontaneous photos, and both lovely Diane. The young lady's skin looks like porcelain and the shadows don't detract from her beauty at all.

The portrait is really lovely. The red in her dress just adds to the beauty against that rich green! Well done and good for you to go up and ask!

Oh she's gorgeous. Kind of reminds me of Betty Boop with red hair. :)

Diane,
There is something very special about this photo. I think her RED dress is striking against the green grass. She is such a beauty, isn't she? That was so nice of her to let you take her picture.

love,

I love how you caught her before she even got into the dress! She looks 'retro', the hairstyle I guess, and is a great face for portraiture - complexion is lovely and the red hair with a bright red lip is perfect. I've never been able to wear red clothing but do usually have a red lip.

Glad you had the nerve to stop and request a pic Diane! How come you're not in our cool mountains this Summer?

Happy weekend, Mary

How lucky that she was walking by AND agreed to a photo! She is quite a pretty lady, and her red dress and hair offer a terrific color contrast with the green foliage.
