Look for the Signs

There are lots of signs in Hendersonville, NC and I must be drawn to them. Because I saw a theme when I looked at the photos I had taken.

BestMosaic

And when you can’t decide which mosaic is best….

BestMosaic2

post them both. (a new rule! lol)

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday

Amaze me Monday and

Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday (new link).

(in case you couldn’t read this one in the mosaic!)

I make my mosaics in Picassa.

Do you enjoy making them as much as I do!

LOVE your mosaics! I've had a bit of trouble creating them in Picasa, so I usually use PicMonkey.

Great signs ... there is Signs, Signs meme on Wednesdays.
I love mosaics and make them for a lot of my posts now, not just Mosaic Monday. I use Picasa and now I'm trying different programs.

That has happened to me when go across the bridge into downtown Charleston. I love signs. One thing I've been thinking about doing is going down there and taking pix of all the lawyers in their seersucker suits at lunchtime. LOL Love your shots!

Hi Diane,

Hal and I love Hendersonville, too! I have pictures of some of the very same buildings in a post I did a few years ago. :) It is a charming town, isn't it? Love the new definition of ASAP. :-D

Your mosaics are lovely; I use Picasa and Pikmonkey for mine. They are both easy to work with. I hope you have a wonderful week!

Hugs,

Denise

I do enjoy making them and use them in a lot of posts...i worry about having TOO many pictures for people to go through so I use them for that reason and then sometimes a photo is too big but if I use it in a mosaic it must downsize it and then Wordpress takes it ! :)

I studied your mosaics closely and decided I like the second one best Diane. The new rule is a good one - I've made a couple of similar mosaics too and sometimes have had to ask hubby which one he likes best.
Thanks for linking to MM lavender sister. ♥

I've been caught up on work after being offline all weekend. Your collages are a breath of fresh air. How did the weekend go by so fast?

I love the 'Joy of Books' sign - I would have been in there like a shot! Bookshops are like a magnet for me, I could easily while away an hour or two there!
Lovely mosaics.

Great idea to arrange these in a mosaic. Good to see there still some book stores around!
I agree about mosaic making being fun - I seldom made them until I came across Mary's blog and am so glad Judith has agreed to host.

Have a lovely week,
Ruby

I use to use picasa up until about a year ago. When I changed to a Mac I started with iPhoto and now I use Lightroom. Don't know how to do mosaics yet, more even if it's possible in Lightroom. If Ii had to do one I'd use picmonkey.
