Mountain Photos

Some photos you just can NOT improve on!

I took these to picmonkey but I decided to add the drop shadow frame without making ANY changes!

(afternoon photo when we arrived)

Straight out of the camera!

Exactly what I saw standing on my balcony here in the mountains of NC.

(sunset the first night)

The beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.

And a couple of my friends asked if it would be cooler up here than in Florida.

It was 71 when we got here and 91 in Florida at the same time in the afternoon.

Nice and cool, green and lush!

How beautiful! They remind me of pictures of Europe. Soak it all in. :)

So pretty! Wish I had views like that. I don't think you missed too much. Blogland has been kinda quiet for a few days.

Beautiful views!!
We were home in St. Augustine the last week of July and the humidity and the heat killed us. Just standing outside for pictures - you sweat and feel miserable. was thrilled to come home to Atlanta.
I love "home" - in the fall, winter and spring!!

We go to NC fairly often, from Ohio we did get to travel through the mountains and they are breathtaking! Driving up from Florida along the coast is lovely too.

Beautiful views of the mountains! The 71 is much better than a hot humid 91.. But, you could be used to those hot days! Our summer seems pretty cool this year.. enjoy your new week ahead!

Stunning views, WOW!

Now I have an unrelated question... how do you divide your time between the two homes.. do you do it seasonaly, on a whim, every few weeks or months? Just curious. We talk about a second home but haven't managed to find an affordable spot that we like yet.
