Photo Challenge and Good Fences!

We travel the back roads of America on our trips.

And nothing gives us more joy than seeing sights like this along the way.

geeseframeIMG_6384

It slows you down and keeps the stress level down, too.

OKAY everyone!

Oh, this made my heart sing today, Diane. What great pictures these are. It reminded me of when I went to church this week, and when I walked out the door, there was a family of turkeys just walking through the parking lot. I was so bummed because I didn't have my camera, but I enjoyed it just the same. I love to see pictures of your back roads and hikes and walks. They are simply lovely.

I love seeing animals in the wild. We have the deer, skunks, raccoons, bunnies and wild turkeys. But I don't like 200 buzzards, coyotes. Heaven forbid that we would have the wild hogs. Enjoy all your trips.......

We love to take back roads on our travels as well - in the US as well as in other countries. I have the feeling that you see so much more of the country and area than if you're rushing on the big highways.

I love the trees! Crape Myrtle? I snapped some geese just like yours the other day. They even walked up to my car looking for a hand out! lol! It was at a park where they have gotten spoiled. :) Pretty photos!

Back roads are the best way to travel...country roads at that! I never tire of seeing geese or ducks, you are right it lowers the stress levels.
Hope you have a good weekend!

Calling by from the APPC today, the back roads are always less stressful and scenic.

Mary said...

Hi Diane - your geese and crepe myrtles look very much like the ones in my immediate neighborhood - the trees we love but the birds are so messy and too many! Fortunately the ponds are far enough away we don't get them on our street!

Great shots - hope your weekend is fun - heavy rain here again this morning but at least the grass has remained green this Summer - perhaps I shouldn't let on about that or those darned geese will stop by for a nibble!

Hugs - Mary
