The Fence List!

We drove North about 60 miles or so to meet my sweet cousin Cindy this week!

It was a beautiful drive and we had a very nice lunch! We talked and talked and then we walked and walked.

And our drive up there seemed more like a ‘nature drive’. It was raining lightly so excuse the water droplet on the windshield!

I came home and made a list of all that we had seen.

And here it is…

Llamas, Emus, white geese, Canada geese, Egrets (flocks of hundreds flying together and landing in a field), herons, wild turkeys (3 times we saw these), a black horse with a white tail, longhorn cattle, baby horses and burros, several hawks, kestrels, a huge flock of doves, chickens and goats as well as wildflowers and locust trees in bloom.

Can you believe I’ve probably forgotten a few sights along the way?

I’m joining Tex for the

Good Fences party!

Some days are just so very special.

This one was the best!

What a wonderful treat that you got to see so many different things on a short trip! I have never seen a black horse with a white tail.

Hahaha, that's quite a list! We went for a Sunday drive several weeks ago and had similar sightings. I had to laugh though, and comment that I knew we were in east Tennessee. On the porch of one rural house, we saw the usual sight of old sofas on the front porch. But there were also several goats!

It looks and sounds like a wonderful drive. The black horse with the white tail sounds so unusual. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that.

Have a beautiful day! :-)

What a great outing you had. I don't think I've ever seen that many Egrets at one time. Great looking fencing to. My post earlier this week had just 1 Egret in it but man you saw a bunch. - Hope you got pictures of all the other wildlife you saw to share.

LOL, I love that everyone LOVES the fences, but I really think the photo of us is the BEST! It was the highlight of the trip getting to visit for a little while! I hope next time we can have time for you to show me some of you're favorite places! Thank you for my little dollie, she has a special place, just like you do in my heart! Cindy

A black horse with a white tail? Never seen that. I love horses, and there are quite a few near where we live.

I love the scenes you show us of Florida Diane. It doesn't look the way most people picture Florida at all, and that's what makes them so special. I hope I get to see some of that when we're there this winter!
