I only do ‘Fun Stuff’!

I know it must seem that way! Because I do a LOT of fun stuff! I even made it sound like FUN to go to the dentist! haha! You even followed along when I got my hair cut last month.

IMG_9661

So what have I done this month that was fun?

IMG_9657

I went to an Arts and Crafts fair in our community that I could walk to! (it was cool that morning!)

IMG_9662

This beautiful lady makes shell boxes!

IMG_9668

And I met a sweet lady from Arkansas! That’s where I’m from and for some reason, I don’t meet many people in Florida from ‘The Natural State’.

IMG_9655

All kinds of beautiful handmade items! And yes, I bought something and hubby did, too!

Arkansas is also know as “the land of opportunity”.

What is the nickname of your state?

Hi Miss Lavender Dreams,

I think we are the "Tar Heel State", aren't we? You know 'cause you live here for several months in the summer, right?

Hugs,
Prudence ♥

ooohhhh I adore craft shows!! Looking through all the special handmade crafts. Sharing stories with the crafters and knowing your purchase will help to maintain their very important business. Support local, buy local!!

My mother in law as a great crafter, doing many each season, sewing year round, hauling mountains of hand made aprons, half towels, baby doll diapers, cloth children's books. Our license plates once said Colorful Colorado. State line signs said Welcome to Colorful Colorado. And certainly Denver was always the Mile High City because of its elevation, but now the "high" has taken on a new connotation. -:(.

That looks like a fun show to attend. I'm off to one at the local church this morning too. The provinces of Canada all have mottos on their licence plates, for Ontario it is Yours to Discover.

Our state nickname is Heart of Dixie and I guess we are!! I always enjoy tagging along with you Diane!:) Wish you could have joined me on my trip to Franklin TN yesterday!

I'm so happy for you that you get to do all that fun stuff and I get to enjoy it vicariously!

Nebraska is the known as the Cornhusker state and the Tree Planters' state. Our motto must be "Nebraska the Good Life" because it's on every sign when you enter the state...and it is a good life! Hope you're doing more fun stuff this weekend--can't wait to read all about it!

Morning, love to see all the homemade goodies, what fun.... Our Canadian Province is nicknamed Friendly Manitoba and we are. Blessings Francine.

Diane, I Indiana motto is, "crossroads of America" whatever that means .LOL My guardian angel moved from Tipton to Cherokee Village Hardy, Arkansas....when I was a young married. I tried to visit with her any time she came back to Tipton. I know she love the weather in Ark. Not snow to deal with all winter. I am glad you got to go to a fair. I am going to Horton's this morning. ...wish you could go with me. xoxo, Susie

You do indeed have fun!!!! I just love your blog, even though I'm new to it - I've read a lot of the back posts and enjoyed them tremendously.

The craft fair looks like such fun!!

Washington is the Evergreen State - and it surely is that. We are in the autumn and winter rainy season - and things are green as can be, plus the evergreen trees that cover our hills and mountains.

Craft fairs are always so interesting. Illinois has some nicknames I won't repeat here. The most common name is "The Land of Lincoln."

What a fun outing! There are lots of "snow birds" here that go to Florida in the Winter. I remember people saying goodbye and that they were going "South" for the Winter and I stated, "I thought we were already in the South!" LOL!

That craft show has a lot of creative people participating and I would buy something, I am sure. This Sunday our church knitters will sell their creations, all money to charity, and I look forward to buying from them. California is the golden state, but when I fly I look below and think a more truthful name would be the brown state, brown as in dry.

Fun photos. I see a lot of things I would love! GA is the peach state!

You do have fun. Love your kind of shopping. Your hair really looks cute on you.
There were lots of open houses this week and some church craft fairs. I didn't go to any. Maybe next week I went last week-end to a few.
Happy shopping.

Craft Fairs are so much fun! I see lots of intriguing items for sale. You're going to make us wait to learn what you purchased. I think a doll or perhaps a piece of jewelry. My state is known as The Pine Tree State and also as Vacationland.

Oh, and don't worry my friend....I'm not giving up all my babies,I'll always need a few around to comfort me and make me smile. Plus, I can always stopped by your blog and play in your doll room awhile ;)

I went to a craft show today at a local high school to check the show out to maybe have a booth there next year. There was 150 booths and was it ever packed with shoppers. Looks like a great show that you went to also.
