Gingies ROCK! “Wednesday Wee Ones”

I’ve had so much fun playing with my Gingies this Christmas. (they are from the Etsy store HERE)

I found some felt gingerbread men that I made a few years ago for them to hold.

And then just let my theme be

“Dolls, Bears and Gingies” this year!

And I’ve had such fun!

GingieRedFrIMG_0756

These were some things that didn’t have a ‘shelf’ or special place so they were in this tray on the kitchen table. Hubby walked by and said it looked like a vignette…he really said that! I told him he’s been reading too many blogs! heehee!

Lulu, her snow pop, some Scottie dogs and other handmade ornies.

I’m joining Ivy and Elephants HERE!

I’m trying not to have ‘too much’ out this year so that I can enjoy my home more.

Oh, and I have a photography tip for bloggers.

Did you notice there is NO glare on my glass table in this photo? Don’t dust before you take photos…hehehehehe! And look at all the time it saves! lol

Have a fun week!

And take time to PLAY!!!

Your gingies are soooooo cute! I especially love the last one. And thanks for the tip on the dusting. I guess it wouldn't hurt to do some dusting today actually...kind of avoiding the housework!

Diane, If not dusting makes for a better picture, mine should be hanging along side the Mona Lisa. LOL.. You are killing me girl. Wow, you are raising your man right...vignette. :):) I have loved this post. Your little dolls are adorable . Blessings, xoxo,Susie

Well now I know how to keep the shine off things - I'm going to have so much fun not dusting. That did make me chuckle.

Your gingerbread folks are just darling. I'm discovering as I decorate this season that I don't have nearly enough flat surfaces to decorate - hmmm, how shall I change that?

Thank you Diane for taking the time to visit me.
Your Gingies are so sweet, and the little rag doll reminds me of the one my mother made me when I was 8 for Christmas one year.
Of course it looked different, but it brought back fond memories of this time.

I bet you have so much creative fun with making them. I am going to get back to sewing this winter, coming up with some creative pieces.

Thank you again for your visit, I shall return.

A Joyeux Noël

A great excuse not to clean!! There is too much decorating to do without cleaning as well (that will come after Christmas is over!). I love your gingerbread men and ladies!! Take care xx

That was funny...reading too many blogs. You're right, I had no idea what that word meant until I started blogging! LOL!
Your dolls are precious and they all look so cute with your ornies too.

Lol! I nearly laughed out loud about the dust! Who knew?!

Your cute little gingerbread dolls are adorable, I just want to eat them up ;).

Not sure if I will be able to stop by before Christmas so I wanted to wish you an early 'Merry Cheistmas'!!

First, thanks for letting me know that dust is okay!

Steve doesn't know the word vignette and he shakes his head at all my photographs.

Fun little dolls!

I like that no dusting hint, it's hard not to get flash or glare on glass tables.
Enjoying your gingies and dolls, really cute.

I want to first say that I LOVE what you did with your new/thrifted coral! It looks great with all the white snowflakes & sea shells in the jars ... so much better all white than putting greenery around it I think. Your gingies are so cute! I gave my nephew a little stuffed gingerbread man one year and he got the name "Ninja Ginja". I can't help but think of all of gingies this way now! Enjoy your decorating Diane ... looks like you're still at it ;) Wendy x

Hi Diane, those Gingies are really cute. Do you think they will mind if I confess that I'm going to make some gingerbread this weekend?
Have fun!
