Holiday Fun in the Lanai!

We spend most of our time in the lanai.

(some people call it a Florida room)

IMG_0706

We have comfy furniture and there are windows on 3 sides of the room so we get a lot of natural light. It’s a ‘feel good’ room and I surround myself with my favorite things.

IMG_0679

And I love to decorate the baker’s rack for the holidays.

IMG_0683

I’m sure many of you will see things you’ve made on the shelves. (I made the rag garland this year)

IMG_0668

I won’t try to mention everyone but please mention it in your comment if you see something you’ve made among my decorations.

IMG_0670

Some things I’ve made, others I’ve bought on Etsy or won in a giveaway. Some are gifts from friends.

IMG_0686

All of the pretty things I’ve collected over the years.

IMG_0704

Sit on the sofa and we’ll have a cup of coffee, or tea if you prefer! And we’ll talk about holiday fun!

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday

Amaze me Monday and

Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.

Good Morning! What a lovely place to sit and enjoy your sweet décor. The baker's rack is the perfect place to display all the pretties. It's 25 here in GA this a.m., so I'll take a hot cup of coffee!!! Have a blessed Sunday.

It would be so nice to have a sunny spot to hang out. I'd probably live there, too. Isn't it fun to put out all of your little Christmas treasures to enjoy and to love? Snow here thanks to what the Californians are calling the Pineapple Express. It is cold, cloudy, and windy. A good day to cheery Payton on. Have a great week.

Yes-- I do see 3 of mine! Love how you displayed them. Those mice in the stockings are too cute!! And I like the shells accenting the red-- pretty! Ahh... so much light! My old bungalow lacks that for sure!

I'd be hanging out there too! It looks comfortable and festive. :)

Catching up with you again Diane. You have a fascinating collection of dolls & bears, and they look perfect on the baker's rack for Christmas. I would love to join you for a cup of coffee in your beautiful sunny room and chat away the day!! I've enjoyed your previous posts of Santa on the river, and the horse farm and beautiful artwork. (I really like the last photo of the young girl reading with her big mug of hot chocolate and the fairies around her). Have a great weekend! Wendy x

You decorated the bakers rack very pretty. I love all the cute little things.
Your Florida room is very pretty. We call ours the Carolina room as we live in South Carolina. We also use our room because of the natural light.

What a charming room -and the decorations are fabulous - just the kinds of things I like too.

And could you email my your mailing address please. I keep forgetting to ask.

I'll have tea - and I just baked some fresh German Stollen so I can bring some along and we can enjoy your room together - if we weren't at opposite corners of the country.
