Cabin Fever “Good Fences”

I know many of you are stuck inside because of the weather! I sure hope you get a break from the winter weather soon. We’ve had temps in the 80s this week but I’ve been stuck inside with a bad cold.

So this morning I broke out!

(this isn’t a photo of me)

I made the loop and went to my favorite thrift stores. I wasn’t in much of a ‘thrifting’ mood because I spent less than $2 total!

But I got out and saw green grass and lots of pretty Spring trees and bushes blooming.

And I took a couple of photos from my side window, Tex!

They aren’t the best but I was desperate to take part this week!

I’m joining Tex for the

Good Fences party!

Where shall we go this afternoon?

Glad you got out and are feeling a bit better at least. Don't have a relapse! Our skies look like that too but it is cold and there is about 6-8 inches of snow that wasn't there yesterday! LOL! But I love it!

Spending less than 2 $ in a thrift store - you really wasn't in the mood for it ;)
Thank you for those wonderful green pictures, even though they are shot through the window - I love them! :))
Have a beautiful day

So nice to see that you are getting out! I had to laugh at your first photo - my younger sisters (4 of them) used to tease me and call me the 'Old Crow'. Yea, I was all of 36.....Love your beautiful green pastures, but $2 at the thrift store? I think you need to get right back into bed - you must have a fever! Hoping you are back to feeling good soon! xo K

Hello sweetness - glad you got out to spend a little time at the thrift shops. The photos are wonderful - so blue and warm looking. We are hovering in the mid 50s and enjoying sunshine - warmer would be nicer though. Take care and don't over do.

A fence is a fence is a fence, whether traveling a top speed or out to stand still for the picture. Glad your temps are climbing...we still have some cooler days in Texas for a few.

What a bummer to be having a cold with those kind of temps. Glad you got out anyway. Such pretty clouds in your fence shots.

I know the feeling! I got out yesterday because it was warm and it felt so good. Today was rainy and cold but I did have to take my Mom to the Dentist. Back home and warmed up now.

I'm glad you were well enough to go for a drive and take these great pictures, Diane. It's really cold here again tonight but I think the weather is warming up around the freezing mark on the weekend. I enjoy seeing 'summer' weather. :) Enjoy. Feel better soon!

I'm so glad to hear you are able to get out again. I've been getting out despite the cold weather ... it makes coming indoors again to warm up a treat! Getting lots of bird photos too, which helps make freezing your buns off all worthwhile! Enjoy your weekend :)

You're so right. When you're feeling down the best thing is to get out and get a new perspective on things. Thanks a lot. Joan

I think no matter what the weather is like, it's a good feeling to break free of the indoors and fill our lungs with fresh air.

Good for you to get out despite the cold. I hope that you feel better soon.

What is green grass? LOL.
