I’m a Spokesperson for TEVA!!!

Not really! But I COULD be!

I was in Texas 15 years ago when my son, D showed me the TEVAs he was wearing. He thought I might like some so off we went to shop for a comfortable sandal that I could wear anywhere.

And the rest as they say…

is history!!!

TEVAs have enough support to wear for hours. They are always my choice for a hike on ‘clean trails’ and a must for shopping. Easy to take off and you can rinse them off to clean.

Your foot works into the rubber type surface just enough for comfort and support and the adjustable straps let you ‘snug them up’ to give you the feel of more of a shoe than a sandal.

So why am I telling you all this?

I finally walked mine to death.

BOO HOO!

My favorite TEVAs…my very first pair that are a perfect shade of denim blue ‘bit the dust’ yesterday while walking for over an hour at Manatee Springs State Park.

They are ‘cracked up’ now.

BOO HOO!! (oh I said that already)

Do I have another pair? Well, of course I do. I sure couldn’t risk loosing my Teva tan.

But they aren’t a pretty shade of bluebonnet blue.

But they will have to do.

Boo hoo.

It's hard to lose a favorite pair of shoes isn't it! My sandals are Eccos and are so comfortable. Have a wonderful walking Wednesday, Diane. I think the shoe company should give you a free pair for that great testimonial! :-)

I've always wanted to try those because I always hear good things about them. Don't you look cute this morning. xo

I've seen those and I'll have to try a pair on! I'm into comfort and those look comfy! Where are you off to today? I bet you have your camera in hand! Have a great day!

Really? Well I will be thinking about this brand the next time I am shopping for sandals. Now what are you going to do with those cute straps from the cracked pair? Seems as if something clever could be done.

I hate it when a perfectly good pair of shoes wears out. I may have try a pair. I have been looking for sturdy, comfortable sandles. Thanks for the tip.

I have so much trouble finding comfortable shoes. I might have to check this brand out! Sorry your favorite pair bit the dust, but those sandals sure gave you a lot of pleasure!

Have a lovely day, sweet Diane!

Oh, I hate it when that happens! I have never owned a pair of these but I have seen many folks wear them...even the "knock-off" variety. My comfy shoes of choice are my Croc flip-flops...I wear them everywhere except in the winter :)

Oh I'm with you my friend - when a favorite pair of shoes wears out and I can't find the same ones I am soooo sad. Every year it seems that the styles change. Next time I find a pair of shoes that I adore I am going to buy 6 pair - I swear I am.

I love my Teva's also Sis! They are the best for hiking and really support my feet. Love the blue, so sad they bit the dust. Mine are just brown but still a favorite shoe!

Linda

I hate it when my favorite shoes crack..there just isn't any fixing going to make it better. My favorite sandals are Keens and I wear them a lot in the summer. Your Tevas look comfy, too. Maybe you can find another blue pair.

It's always nice to hear a recommendation for comfortable shoes, Diane. As we age our feet change shape and give us a lot of aches and pains. I had a pair of these one time too and they are comfy.

Hi Diane,
We all have the "teva tan" in our house! I don't know what I would do without mine!

I had to laugh at the duct tape comment above....but really, don't we hate it when a favorite pair of shoes fails us?

They are a wonderful active sandal.. and you can even walk in rocky or corally waters and not worry about stepping on anything sharp, and the sandal holds up. I love them for kayaking!

Always good to hear of a brand that real people use and like! It gets hot here in Philly too so sandals are a must. Hopefully the good folks at Teva will see your testimonial and send you a new blue pair:@)

That's interesting. I'm going to check into that name brand. I don't wear sandals for hiking. I wear name brand walking shoes but no pair has ever come close to 15 years. Wow! That was a good investment.

I'm always on the lookout for comfy shoes so will have to check these out. Sorry your favs bit the dust, I hate when that happens!

I'm always looking at shoes I can walk in and these look great. Thanks, spokesperson and happy walking!

I would be crying also. It's awful to lose a favorite pair of shoes or purse or necklace...or, or, or! Hilarious about your hubby wanting to repair them with duct tape! A man's "fix-all" for everything! LOL

BeachGypsy said...

Hi Diane, let me know if you cant find the magazine and I'll get one for you here okay?

I came across Teva sandals in Canada in 2005 when there was a horrible thunderstorm and the rain ruined my 'pretty' leather sandals. They are almost identical to your old ones and I wear them all summer and they have been all over the world with me and remain as good as new so far. Last year while we were holidaying in Florida we came across a Teva shop in one of the outlet malls and I decided to get myself a new pair to keep as spares in case mine should do what yours have done! My new ones are a bit more colourful than my blue ones but I wasn't too fussed about the colour, they are the most comfy things ever that's for sure. I hope you get 15 years from your new ones too. x
