Natural Scenes from Florida

When it’s too warm to hike, we can get in the car and drive!

And it was a beautiful day over the weekend to head to a feeder creek to the Gulf Coast.

I thought you might enjoy seeing some natural beauty.

And how nice to have a bench to sit and watch the boats come in.

Looks like a fun day to be on the water!

What a nice thought - warm days. The photos are lovely and I'd like to be sitting right there watching the boats. We are in the middle of a huge rainstorm - high of 52 and snow down to 1,000 feet on the mountains (we might get a flurry or two at our house). Not the weekend weather we hoped for - but we'll find something fun to do anyway, even if we have to stay indoors.

That would be most enjoyable Diane. I hope you had a nice time watching the boats in the sunshine. Have a lovely weekend. xx Pam

Hello, I just popped over from Jane at Maple Syrup Mob to have a look at your blog. I love your photographs, I envy your life in Florida, we've been to Orlando a few times to see the Mouse with our grandchildren, we live in Scotland which is beautiful but not warm or as sunny as Florida or indeed North Carolina I'm sure! Nice to meet you, I've bookmarked your blog and will look forward to reading more. :)

Very pretty spot on the river...any chance of anything prehistoric coming up out of the water?

You have had some high temps lately. Beautiful pictures. I went to a doll auction yesterday. I brought home a bunch. It was the end of the two day event. Now I got to find homes for them. I will post them soon.

We had a surprise this morning in the shape of a cold and rainy day. No walking here, so I'm enjoying your sunshine instead.

What a lovely spot. I used to go to a place called Pine Island on the gulf where I rented a house and also several other places where I went on business trips in Florida on the gulf. So pretty and boy did I love(still do) those stone crabs when they were in season. Some friends of mine would get them right off the boat when they came in. I even remember Tampa when it wasn't a big city! Yes, I'm old! LOL!
Did you have to watch for alligators so close to the water there?

Sending blessings,

Hi Diane, It's wonderful to "find" you again. I deleted my old blog and have been slowly finding my old buddies. You live in such a pretty area. It would be wonderful to sit on that bench and enjoy the beauty. Hope you have a great day. Signing up to follow along now.
