Turquoise blue water at Blue Springs Park in Levy County, FL

We stopped at this beautiful park to take a little break on our way to Manatee Springs State Park.

We definitely want to pack a picnic and go back soon to spend the day.

The water was beautiful shades of turquoise and crystal clear!

Lots to do and several nice pavilions with picnic tables. And our temps have been in the 80s, perfect for summertime activities!

What a great place to have fun! And great shot of that little doing a flip into the water...perfect timing! It's not quite warm enough here yet for swimming but one day soon I'll be eating those words...lol! Great post!

A very sweet park - I like the photo of the boy jumping in the water - looks like he is standing on his head on top of the water. Now I want warmer temperatures and a park for a picnic - got the park in mind, now to wait for warmer weather - they say 71 in a week or so and that is warm for here.

Hi,
I would love to swim in that water. It looks so refreshing.
I also liked your Shout Out for your favorite sandal. I know what you mean about finding great shoes for hiking. I have always loved my Keen's.

that definitely looks like a nice spot to stop and spend some time.
and it's so cliche -- but a simple, white wooden fence really is beautiful in it's simplicity.

Beautiful park so green. We are having a drought here in California. I don't expect to see much green around here this spring and summer. Love traveling around Flordia with you. Hugs.

Jumping into turquoise water on a hot day sounds perfect! Did you swim for very long? Were you one of the more daring jumping from the dock?

I like the kids jumping in to the water, how refreshing. Keep reading The Warden, the next two in the series are even more charming. I read 3 in a row, 3 more to go. I am taking a break. Trollope created a wonderful world.
