Out in the country!

We saw this house out in the country, here in Florida.

(I was careful to ‘zoom out’ to get a fence in the shot, Tex!)

Not exactly a typical design for Florida.

In fact, I’m not at all sure what the design is.

Do you know?

I’m joining Tex for the

Good Fences party.

It is a cute house! It kind of reminds me of a barn renovated into a house. Great fence find. Have a happy day!

What a unique home :) Although I am not sure what style it is... Thanks for sharing with us. Happy day! Hugs!

It looks like they took elements from different houses they liked and glommed them together. Very strange!

Interesting house -- that looks like a silo on the side!

Interesting! I wonder what that house looks like from the inside. I think that style is called hodgepodge ;)

This is the home of a person with their own individual style, I love it!

Whatever it is, I like it! I would love to see the Round Room/Round Tower.

It almost looks like they added to a barn and silo to make a home. Very interesting with lots of space!

It's sure lovely whatever the name it is. I have the sense that they mixed a few norms and came up with their own design.

It looks almost like a barn with a silo attached. Not sure what the style is but it is sure out of character for Florida! xo Diana

Diane,
That is an interesting house! I bet the inside is neat! I'm sure it is either a renovated barn or they were going for the barn look when it was constructed....beautiful horse inside that fence!!!

Very different (actually different for anywhere, but especially Florida!)

Wow, that is a unique house....almost as thought they built it around their silo!

Nice "good fence" shot!!!

Diane, that is so interesting. It looks like it needs a windmill wheel on the highest part of the barn.

What a nice shot with the fence and the horse. That house is quite different. It sort of has a bit of a "beachie" feel to it but like others have said it also resembles a barn in ways.

I think they're aliens from outer space and they launch rockets from their silo!

Interesting architecture - a barn with a tower - sort of like an old castle, perhaps.

Interesting house!! I did a search on Silo Barn House and several came up in my search. I really like the look of them...now if we could only see the inside of them.

I would say, 'unique'! It does look like a renovated barn. It looks well maintained!

Deb @ Frugal Little Bungalow said...

I wonder if it is a very fancy barn ! ?

It's interesting that's for sure. Kind of looks like the owners had two different opinions on how it should look, and ended up doing a bit of everything to make each other happy.

Whimsical? I like it.

Hmm...I see some English Tudor influences as well as some traditional farmhouse, but both done in a modern, contemporary design. Regardless, it's very pretty!
