Sewing Challenge continues!

We are having fun this summer with a sewing challenge.

dollsIMG_5483

JoAnn from Scene through my Eyes sent me fabric and patterns for doll clothes. We are taking turns choosing the fabric and then creating outfits for our dolls.

(My original post is HERE, we both have Madame Alexander 18 inch dolls)

Holly is ready to go to the park with her puppy and book bag.

I made the little ruffled bag for her book. JoAnn made the cute sandals. The pattern I used for the sundress is a free pattern HERE. It was quick and easy. Thanks Blissful Sewing!

So sweet, but they would need little sweaters up here, it's in the mid 60's and very breezy. Thank goodness that awful heat wave is over.....for now.

Both you and Joanne did a wonderful job sewing outfits for the dolls. What a talent you have! I love the accessories too, the bag for your doll and the hat for hers.

Way too cute. I have a collection of Madame Alexander dolls that my mom collected. Mostly the round the world and fairy tale series. There are about 75 to 85. When she passed in 2001 I wrapped them and put them in the attic. I can't seem to get them down and go through them. I have only one granddaughter, she doesn't seem to be interested in them. You have so much fun with your dolls, just love all the venues you share with us. I have a huge smile on my face. Hugs to you.
