The Half Moon

We’ll see a full moon soon and thanks to my new camera, I will have lots of moon shots to share.

But first, how about this half moon?

We have three of these windows in our house and I love looking up to see the beautiful white fluffy clouds. (jars are filled with seashells)

Hubby has been sweet to go out in the evenings and take moon photos.

I have one of those types of windows in my house Diane. It is in the guest room and we always shove a bed pillow up in the window so our guests can sleep in!! Classy, no?lol

Those are beautiful moon shots. I used to have a window like that where I could watch the clouds and the moon and stars. Alas it was leaking and had to be covered up.

Tell your husband he did good photographing the moon. I just finally bought me a tripod for my new camera so I'm hoping to get some good images of the moon's surface.

Loved the photo of the little sail boat in the covey window!!

And, thanks so much for visiting my other blog, my bird photo blog this past weekend "I'd Rather B Birdin'" Your comment left there is very much appreciated. I hope to see you again, soon.

I love those windows. I'm afraid our house isn't tall enough to have any though. Wonderful moon shots - I like to set up my camera on the tripod on the deck and get photos of the moon.

Hi Diane,
I love your windows. love the boat and shells on the one you have shown.
Wow,, your new camera has a long zoom .. the photos your hubby took of the moon are fantastic.
I wrote a post yesterday and I have a photo of the moon, but it looks like a little white blob in the late afternoon sky.
wishing you a happy Tuesday..
Thanks for your comments over my blog.. so apreciated Diane.

The arced window is such a lovely way to frame the outdoors. Great view. And love the use of the seashells in the jars.

I do love that window, being able to keep an eye on the sky as you go about your day is wonderful.

My sister, who lives in Orlando area, wrote on FB this morning that it was too cloudy last night for them to see the special convergence. Maybe tonight?
