Now if he'd only stand on one leg and pose! He looks a bit lost, or maybe he was on a mission! :)

I wish he would visit our yard! I'd pack away the 101 gnomes (just kidding, but I must tell the kids to stop giving me garden angels).

He looks great anywhere. You have great photos, too. I saw them in Texas on the fly and never could get a photo of them.

I really really like this!!! How marvelous. And just across the street from you....incredible. Here, across our street we may be lucky to see a sparrow or two.

I'd love to have you stop by I'd Rather B Birdin' and add your link to share with all the other bird enthusiasts.

I love the Great Egret. I had one visit my yard one day. I followed it around with my camera, stayed real close to it. It was so neat that it chose the path through my gardens that I normally take visitors. It came back later in the day and did the same thing. Then, I never saw it again.

You are too funny Diane!!
I thought your Egret was a real yard ornament!!!
I just returned from Mom's and her neighbor actually has two yard egrets that do look real!! I had to examine the legs to see if you were pulling MY leg.
