Gingerbread Cookies for ‘Wednesday Wee Ones’

Opal was invited to a Christmas party so she needed a new dress for the special occasion.

She was all dressed up…

and her dress was fancy even from the back!

But when she arrived, the other ‘girls’ handed her an apron and put her to work.

It was time to bake gingerbread men.

All of the pixies came out to help

so it turned out to be lots of FUN!

The holidays give us all a chance to enjoy the pretties we’ve collected over the years.

I made these gingerbread men years ago!

And the pixies are mostly vintage kneehuggers.

JoAnn and I both used the same Christmas fabric to create doll clothes for our sewing challenge.

Opal is certainly in the Christmas spirit. Love the little dress. Her little dress is so festive and pretty. She has plenty of help with the elves, doesn't she?

So much "elf help", your kitchen will smell wonderful with all that gingerbread baking.

Enjoy!

Oh she is just too cute this week - I love the way the dress turned out in that fabric - and the apron - maybe I need to make an apron with my leftover fabrics. All the elves are so cute - and love love love the gingerbread men. Everyone seems to be having such a grand time. This is one of your best (among many many wonderful) posts - I just love the combinations - happy week ahead - I am working on a very cute idea for next week - ohhhh the fun!!!!

What a wonderful blog for today. I am into using old jewelry to make art on canvas. Love to sew but go back and forth on which craft I am into too. Merry Christmas Diane from Ky.

How cute. I love Opal's new apron and the gingerbread men. We had some of those pixie elves when I was a child. Very cute activity for the dolls and the pixies :)

Diane, that doll is so pretty! I love all the gingerbread and of course the pixies. BUT, when I was young I hated the pixies. My mom had a few and for some reason, I didn't like them. Now that my mom is no longer with us, they've become dear to me. Funny, huh. Have a wonderful week, friend.

Oh, she is so cute...I swear, you're going to get me into dolls before
I know it! Is that a real gingerbread man? You're so good at creating a lovely "vignette" with your dolls and decorations. I love the little elves/pixies and the gingerbread men you made. That put me in the spirit more than anything so far! You go girl!
