Holiday Baking for Wednesday Wee Ones!

“Get out in that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans!”

zetahollyDSCN0280

Zeta and Holly have on their festive aprons just in time to bake gingerbread men.

DSCN0283

Holly has on a new apron and chef’s hat with fabric that JoAnn sent me.

DSCN0293

Don’t you love the Christmas popcorn and peppermints? I had a little Santa pin for Holly’s top.

DSCN0284

She needed some help so I made a simple white eyelet apron for Zeta and some cute little dishcloths.

DSCN0290

I cut strips of fabric for the trim. (and didn’t even hem the ruffles)

DSCN0291

I made Holly a potholder and oven mit too.

And Zeta has a sweet holiday pin for her dress too.

JoAnn and I both used the Christmas fabric to create doll clothes for our sewing challenge.

Her blog is HERE.

Now if someone would just '”get out in that craft room and ‘bake up’ some gingerbread men”!

Oh my dear - those are all just so darling. I love the idea of dish towels -and the mitt is so cute. Everything came out so well - I do love the tiny christmas tea set - now my dolls want one too. It looks like fun at your house - and in the kitchen.

So cute!

I see you have a mini Santa cup, did you thrift that or did you have it? Just wondering because I found a couple of them and wondering what people used them for..

Holly's cute little Tartan plaid shoes look charming with her holiday apron and the cute little potholder. Zeta looks rather lovely in her pretty new apron too. The tea set displayed on the red and white crocheted table topper is the perfect touch for their holiday "baking" photo "op".

Hugs, Candy

PS: DIL is in labor, my newest little grand daughter should be here by tomorrow morning.

Ok, I LOVE that you have dolls and dress them for the holidays!! I have a huge rabbit boy in my kitchen who I dress for the holidays, my family thinks I'm a bit crazy, but I love him :)

These are just adorable little outfits for the gals! Love all the details you add to your outfits, and so thoughtful of you to make oven mitts and pot holders! You should make up some little felt gingerbread men for them Diane. I've read that felt is a whole lot easier to cut if you first draw the pattern on the dull side of freezer paper, iron it shiny side down on your felt so that it sticks, then cut the felt. This is just to get you going ;)
