Nature's Decorations

We are always looking for wildlife when we hike.

But it's nice to notice the birds and plants along the trails too.

And yes, I put this pinecone in the middle of the plant just to be pretty.

We were hiking Halpata Tastanaki Preserve again

and saw so many bluebirds and warblers.
This one is a baby. You can see the little fluffy feathers on his sides.
Take time to notice the beauty in nature this week!

I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Diane, Great photos of the birds. I love bluebirds so much. When we first moved her we had indigo buntings come around. Then they stopped. We have had bluebirds in our little house Ted made just for them. But there's short time for them to arrive in March and the wrens take over the house before the bluebirds get here. Blessings to you for a great weekend and calm week . xoxo,Susie

I am so glad to see the song birds in Florida, for in the summer when they migrate here, they seem to be more scarce. I always enjoy your bird photos. Merry Christmas, Diane.

I am always so thrilled to see a bluebird! We used to have more of them. I remember going outside one day and several of them were congregated on our rail fence, evidently getting ready to migrate south. I love the bird photos, Diane. We're so blessed with sweet and beautiful wildlife.

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Wonderful birds - seems the birds in Florida are tamer - or else you are faster with the camera - or maybe there are just so many birds that you get good pictures - I love the blue birds - and the warblers are so sweet. Happy weekend!! Hey - I think I'm getting a new doll for christmas - a big box came from our son and DIL in WV - and from the label on the box I think it is a doll. I'm a sneaky detective.

These are pretty birds, Diane. We have a lot of birds flying over just now, migrating for the winter, it is lovely to see them.

I love looking at birds even when I don't know their names because they are so colourful and diverse. Keep having fun and take good care of yourself, your husband and all your loved ones.
