Beautiful Mosaic

I love spending time in our lanai in the winter months.

And it's nice to have so many of my favorite things close by to enjoy.

My new little fairy (a gift from my sister) is on the coffee table in front of me, along with favorite things I've collected over the years. The pretty Abalone shell was a gift from Betsy at My Salvaged Treasures.

And this week I found this precious set of Lefton lambs at the thrift store, so I put them on the table at the end of the sofa. (that's where I'm sitting as I write, with my net book in my lap...on the sofa, not the end table)

It doesn't cost a lot to surround ourselves with beautiful things, whether it's a thrift find, a gift or something you've made. And what a difference it can make in our moods.

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday and
Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.

I love those darling little lambs. It's important to surround ourselves with sweet, beautiful things, especially in the cold dark winter months. Oh, wait... that's just here in Wisconsin. :-)) Have a wonderful day, Friend. xo

The lambs are precious. It's a cozy day and great to stay indoors while the bitter cold wind sings its woeful song and dances through the trees. Yes, surrounding ourselves with our treasures is always so comforting.

Happy Monday.

Your little treasures are all so pretty. The little fairy is so sweet. Also love your Lefton lambs. I always think I've found a treasure if it has a Lefton sticker on the bottom.

I've got shells around me, too. They remind me of a great beach vacations, including one at Sanibel Island. We're in the cold part of the winter now and I so enjoy looking at life on your lanai. Take good care!

I love little treasures like these whether a gift or a find! Some have such precious memories - some were in need of new homes and someone to love them again. Your shell mosaic is gorgeous! I've always been in love with them - treasures of the sea. Beautiful gifts that God rolls up on the shore for us. Wishing you a glorious New Year filled with many blessings! Edie & Marie

I love Lefton items! They are always so sweet. It's been so chilly here, I've not spent any time on my patio since returning from the frozen north. But I do have plans for redecorating it after I rescreen it. First...to find a person to do that!

Do you think it's our age group Diane? I like little pretties around too to look at and create little groupings but neither of our daughters have much, if anything. I think they probably won't want my treasures but hope they find a good home when I'm gone.

Oh such sweet memories and the cutest little lambs. I love having fun things around, especially if they have memories attached to them. Your winters are so wonderful - I'm glad you are enjoying yourself so much. We have warmer weather now - in the low to mid 50s and some rain - perfect PNW winter weather - I baked today and made a casserole for dinner - ahhhh winter. Happy week my dear friend.
